This place is my slice of heaven on earth. I'll begin this review by stating that I have only visited Creswick once however have eaten from this bakery 3-4 times in that one trip. Let me paint a picture for you. Me and the plantation survivors had spent the last 16 hours going through hell. We only managed to narrowly escape the plantation with our lives. Immediately after coming into contact with society again we realised we were absolutely famished and needed somewhere to feed.

It was at this time that we came across the bakery. After scouring the street for the most gormful food we could potentially enjoy in the town of Creswick we found the Creswick Country Bakery. We set our heavy bags outside the door and locked up our bikes before venturing into the building. Immediately everyone stopped what they were doing and turned our way as the chatter died down. I walked up to the counter and ordered a ham and cheese toasty and immediately the noise picked up again. It was clear we were not the strangest people in this town.

After receiving my toasty me and the wolfpack went outside to enjoy our feed. The first bite into that toasty made me feel something I hadn't felt in the past 24 hours... hope. Glorious hope flowed through my body as I continued to chomp down on this sandwich. After the first one I couldn't stop myself... I was fiending. I ran inside reaching speeds I didn't think was possible and immediately ordered a second. I couldn't wait to tuck in again. I stood there watching the girl who was cooking up the storm I was about to put in my belly. I salivated and stared at the clock waiting and watching. When the employee finally finished the meal I almost grabbed it from her hand, akin to Golem reaching out for the One Ring. The second toasty was even better than the first and I wanted to go back for more.

I ate a total of 7 toasties that day and the only thing I regret was that I didn't eat more. I was single-handedly responsible for the shop running out of white bread that day and I'm proud of that fact. Every day I think of this bakery and wish to come back. 5/5 stars brilliant job, If you ever start a store in Melbourne I should be the first...

How disgusting and when you complain the women says I wouldn't know anything about that I wasn't here!!!! So passed to someone else who says yes they may have been there to long come in and we will replace them. So go and do that today to get the same standard of food and when we call to say so, well!!! Not only are we the first ever to complain ( which I know is not the case) but the women on the phone when told how bad the food was chose to just hang up the phone, great customer service I can say with certainty that my family will NEVER return to...

Waited 13mins to be served. The 2 girls are gossiping. Stop gassbagging and serve the customers. While I waited i was 4th inline. I wated a total of 13mins before I was served. While I waited i watched the 2 customer service reps just casually stroll around and gossip. I seen 6 people walk in and see the line and walk out. Most infuriating thing I've seen. You need a 3rd person to serve and 1 dedicated just to making the coffee... stopping your work to have a 5min convo about coffee with a Friend thats a customer is the most infuriating...

We popped into the Creswick Country Bakery for lunch while we were passing thru. The staff were very happy and served us with a smile along with some friendly banter. The bakery is quite large and you can dine inside or out. You are also spoilt for choice; along with the normal bakery fare this store even has fried chicken and chips. For a change, the sun was out, and with a bit of warmth in it, so we sat outside to enjoy our meals and coffees. Everything was just excellent. We will return. Well done!!!

I do love my bakeries and Australia has so many great ones - in spades. This country bakery however, was just average and I was a little disappointed. The rolls I ordered were dry and my cuppa wasn’t hot. You can dine in or take away. Place had reasonable patrons while I was there. Mostly through traffic customers as there was no acknowledgement of locals. I’ll give it another go in a few weeks and hopefully it improves. Notes: wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, good parking out the front.

STYLISH BAKERY IN CHARMING SMALL COUNTRY TOWN! I stopped in this small town because it was so sweet, then I spied the bakery which stands out. I'm so glad I went in as I bought a vanilla slice (I'm enjoying a road trip taste test of Victorian vanilla slices) and I splurged and bought the vanilla slice doughnut sitting next to it. That was the revelation! While the slice was lovely, the doughnut was extraordinary! I wish I had one now.
