Grass Valley — Restaurant in Victoria

My partner, myself and friend dined at this amazing restaurant during our visit to Mt Beauty almost 7 years ago and have raved about the staff, the food and the service ever since.

Not remembering the name of said restaurant, just a rough location and a burnt in memory of the amazing food we ate, my partner and I re-visited stockpot this weekend.

No surprises, the food, staff and service was absolutely amazing, just as it was several years ago. The staff were incredibly accommodating, getting us in with a last minute booking, amongst the crazy Covid-19 restrictions. The service was brilliant and the food just excellent, we even went back the next night for take away.

Wether you are passing through or staying a while, dinner at stockpot is an absolute must! You will it be disappointed. We will certainly be back, and much sooner than...

It was 630am, it was minus 4 degrees. I walked into the shop (which had one customer in there) and ordered a cap. The red headed cashier asked me if I wanted a table, I said just the coffee thanks and she told me to go stand outside in the sub zero temperature and order at the window. I told her I didn't want to stand in the literally freezing cold, and she shrugged and said sarcastically "have a great day then". Grass Valley staff are rude, discourteous and undertrained. A stain on our tourism industry... I sell hospitality businesses for a living and you should be utterly ashamed of yourselves, this encounter exemplifies the appalling customer service that is all too prevalent in our 'award wage' based service industry....

My family and I recently visited this restaurant , and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us with pleasant smiles that made us feel welcome immediately. Their warmth and attentiveness throughout our meal truly stood out.

The food was amazing as well. Each dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Whether you're a fan of hearty classics or looking for something a bit more adventurous, this place has something for everyone.
