Absolutely disappointing!! To start with they didn't take down my reservation. We were about half an hour early as the kids were starving. They told us we ad no reservation. Thankfully i had a call log thay showed thay i had spoken to someone at their restaurant for 45 secinds. They then said we could have a table and get drinks but couldn't even order entre for the hungry kids. They refused to take order for the kids or entre even a minute earlier than 730 which was out reservation time. To top that off they sold out of what the kids wanted by the time we were allowed to order. They had absolutely no empathy towards 2 hungry small children. The cherry on top was how they stuffed up my order. The waitress again was rude when I pointed it out to her. I got attitude from her for pointing out her mistake. Horrible experience! Never coming here again and would never recommend it to friends who visit mount beauty. Pls don't treat customers in this manner. Even if you have a booked out evening every customer deserves to be...

Staying at the caravan park next door to these guys for the ANZAC day long weekend and stopped here for dinner with the missus, we arrived to a booked out bistro but fortunately we had a booking so no worries, as it was ANZAC day there was a 15% surcharge on everything, fair enough I guess but it quickly adds up, believe you me. We ordered pretty quickly and the food was quite fast arriving less than 10 mins for our entree and mains were not long after that, the missus had the chicken caeser salad and it was the best she has ever had, I ordered the 'flamen heck' parmi and was bloody amazing, plenty of kick but not 'blow- ya- head- off' spicey so was very happy with it I was very surprised however to be charged $5.75 for a small glass of soda water! I've never been charged for soda water before anywhere guys, ever. Overall not a bad dining experience, kids running through the dining room was a bit...

Your regular tavern. good food. quick drinks. wish i could speak about the snitzels but their ovens were broken so the main product and more affordable options were all gone, including the pork items. Therefore this booking was mostly wasted, due to the lack of restaurants there wasn’t another option. Always booked out so had to book the night before. Our meals were delicious and came out very fast but some others looked questionable and had to be sent back. Bartenders may not be very qualified as some simple drinks seemed to be a challenge. Due to the lack of affordable meals available, only about 5 very expensive meals available, we spent up to $60 per person. Obviously it was unlucky the night we went but no compensation was met for their lack of options. Would only recommend to rich families who want a...

After a spending a day up on the slopes, we were looking for some decent food. We came across Settlers Tavern. The pictures really do not do the food justice. The food portion was generous but more importantly the taste was really nice. The parmy was delicious moist chicken, sauce was sufficient, cheese was melted all around the parmy and the sides that dribbled onto the sides was crispy! The sticky ribs was nice had a smokey bbq sauce flavour and the addition of the grilled corn and onion rings was nice. The salt and pepper calamari had decent seasoning not over powering and it was slightly crispy. My son enjoyed the medium rare porter house steak with mushroom sauce.

Well, there is not much around Mt Beauty, lack of competition may affect quality, and this is the case with Settlers. There is inconsistency with the food, one day food is exceptional the next is just trash. Food was lacking flavour, chicken parma was very papery, chips were soggy and full of black potato spots, not appetising at all, burrito bowl was a bag of nachos with some topping on top, ribs were ok but all i could taste was a bbq sauce. Two stars is a stretch but, yesterday's parma was really 👍🏻, need to work on consistency. One more, beer on tap is not my first choice.
