Now I know why their sourdough always sells out ... this was by far the best sourdough we've had. We always make sure to try all the different options when travelling Regional Victoria and we're always surprised by the great offerings ... but this bread was next level. We had the white sourdough, which in appearance has a wholemeal look, super soft, yet beautiful crust. Ate it over 2 days and can safely say it was just as good the next day. So glad we made the effort to go, after missing out on other occasions!! Oh yeah ... we couldn't resist the crossiants too ... flaky on the outside, moist and soft inner.

G'day Tom, it was good to meet you today. I was told the croissants are the best in the country and yes they are. I travel Australia working with tourism and it's really hard to find some genuinely good food. The croissants were great and the bread is amazing It's obviously made with care and love. Thank you very much. I'll see you again. I'm going to bring my daughter out to have a coffee and another ham/turkey cheese tomato grows on and the bucket of coffee was good too. Thanks mate.

You can't fault this place. Tawonga Baker is a genuine small scale country business run on skill, quality, passion and family values. Breads and pastries are as good as you will get anywhere in the world. Coffee is excellent. Service is genuine and friendly. Pastries do sell out and breads sell out too. Don't be harsh if you get there later in the day to find things sold out. In Winter you get incredible views to the snow-capped Mt Bogong from your table. Say hi to Tom from me.

This micro bakery is a standout. I've been following their socials as I only eat sourdough and had heard from locals how outstanding their hand crafted bread and pastries are. Finally got the chance yesterday to enjoy the most delectable Almond Croissant with a cup of their freshly made coffee (also delicious). It was heavenly. Can't wait to try their lovingly crafted sourdough and buy more pastries to take home with me today. If you are in Mt Beauty in the beautiful north east on a Thu, Fri or Sat morning, do yourself a...
