Treats at bogong ski centre — Restaurant in Victoria

We didn't plan to dine here but provided we couldn't secure a booking at the never by Tavern, we thought we will give Treats a go and it sure didn't disappoint!

The price of food was on the higher end but that's understandable provided the location and accessibility to produce etc.. We had the chicken poke bowl and ceaser salad and scoffed it down as quick as we could! We couldn't help but give a dessert a go too and their Lime & Pistachio torte with cream and ice cream was absolutely delicious to the point I contemplated ordering the same dessert again!!! Angie was absolutely lovely as a host despite how busy she was serving everyone else in the restaurant! Food Review: Opted for the lamb rump, with a delightful sauce complementing it well, though the lamb was slightly overdone. The potato accompaniment, however, was superb. Lamb portion on the plate felt a bit scant.

The Goat Cheese Souffle, while tasty, leaned more towards a baked egg infused with goat cheese and cream, rather than a traditional souffle.

For dessert, the combination of ice cream, semifreddo, and tulle was simply divine. Despite the chilly temperature, it was so good I could easily indulge in another serving.

My partner, myself and our friends have been regularly diners at Treats Restaurant since Liz and her wonderful team have opened the doors for evening meals. We have never once been disappointed. Great care has been taken with the menu to please discerning diners with a mind-boggling choice of small dishes, mains, and of course Liz’s famous desert menu which is amazing!
