A sweet little cafe in the historical town of Maldon that offers a lovely, very affordable high tea. We had a large party of ten for a birthday celebration, that included a young child, and the girls at Maldon Rose couldn’t have cared for us better. From the friendly, comprehensive booking experience, that included great communication throughout the process, to the dining experience, the Maldon Rose team were exceptional in every aspect. As a small business they went above and beyond, catering to the dietary restrictions for one of our guests and providing attentive service throughout the hour and a half tea service. There was something on the menu that met all our tastes, from fresh sandwiches and minestrone soup, hot (hot!) savory pastries and sweet little cakes and a yummy panna cotta with crunchy crumble on top. The hot chocolate was delicious and they provide an assortment of teas and coffees too. Their award winning scones lived up to their reputation- beautiful texture and flavor, generously large with ample jam and cream. Lastly, they whole team were so sweet, caring and funny with our youngest guest- proving him with his own improvised toy barista station and giving him coffee orders to fill for them. I am so appreciative of the Maldon Rose for making our birthday celebration so memorable. If you are anywhere near Maldon, do yourself a favour and stop by the Maldon Rose. In fact, do what we did and make a special trip just for the high tea- You...

Over the weekend my friend and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting this quaint Cafe. Reminiscent of a French Patisserie we immersed ourselves in the delights on offer. We ordered the 4 point sandwiches which were absolutely delicious filled with varying fresh ingredients. We then ordered the scones with jam and cream. They were sky high, light and pillowy soft. We finished our experience with the sweetest Lavender Latte. Oh my, this was decadent and like nothing we've ever tasted before. All offerings were served on fine bone china which made the experience all that much more special. We had my beautiful pup with us so we sat outside. There was a little incident (which was completely unrelated to the cafe) however the owner went above and beyond showing total empathy and understanding. She surprised us with two delicacies as a take home gift. We didn't expect it but her kind gesture truly touched our hearts. She also told us that they had secured two more spaces next door and that they were expanding their business. She didn't tell us details as it was to be officially announced soon but it all sounded like something incredibly exciting. We can't wait to return once they've expanded because if their current business is anything to go by we have no doubt it's going to be amazing. Thank you...

@maldonroseofficial 📍 MUST VISIT REGIONAL ENGLISH HIGH TEA just outside of Melbourne!! 🫖🌟 ✨ i have officially found my favourite Regional High Tea in Victoria - in this tiny small town in the North West (towards Bendigo!)✨🌟🥺

From $60 per person their standard high tea is of excellent value and quality 🫖☕️ the attention to detail is above if not even better than some high end Hotel High Teas in Melbourne ✨🫖 🌸 !! Servings are generous and everything is hands down amazing. It is so so yummy. 🤩 This family small business is a must visit ✨💘

Stunning cosy interior, strong Allpress Coffee beans, International Tea Leaves, fine China teaware, Award winning scones and refined & delicious quality savoury plus sweets, this gem honestly has it all ✨🫖. The freshness, variety of food and the size of servings are so substantial, you are also welcome to take things home- making it such a wonderful experience✨

Thank you Jade and family for the warmest hospitality. Their passion for their business is so contagious ! 💘We had the best afternoon here and would highly recommend to everyone in Melb- definitely worth the drive to this hidden...

Today I went to mandon rose and I will start it off here Staff were extremely extremely nice and very happy to take photos/help if needed. The pink decor was lovely and the place was a pastel heaven. I first ordered a Vanilla milkshake which was very sweet. (A little too sweet) but very good. Then got the award winning Scones with cream and raspberry jam. And wow they were amazing!! The cupcakes, pies, and sandwiches were also lovely. My only concerns was the size of place, it was extremely difficult to move around but it was capable either way. My disabled sister had trouble going up these 2 steps to get into the main area. But they also showed us their other bigger shop down the street. But I would recommend this place but to a smaller crowd. For bigger events, the other shop is the way to go.
