Norlane Hot Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Victoria

I discovered this place several years ago and while I've also tried other chicken shops, this is the one I always come back to time and time again. Their chicken is juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The chips are good and the serves are huge. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. My order is always a Quarter Chicken & Chips but I've been meaning to try their Fried Rice because I hear it's really good. Service has always been fast and friendly. Nice charcoal chicken and the chips were good. The only disappointment was when I asked if I could create hey splitpack with just some chips and a little bit of salad beside them, I was told that the only way I could purchase salad was to have a pack that had only salad in it or to purchase a salad separately from the chips. Most other charcoal chicken shops I go to have an option that has some chips and 1 salad but being asked to pay an extra $5 for a tiny tub of basic salad to go with my chips was a fair bit...

4 stars for taste but starting to get a bit pricey. Everything across the menu has gone up $1 to $2 and yes I know inflation/cost of living has gone up but he certainly hasn't missed with his price increases. Large special fried rice went from $11 to $13 and they have gotten a bit stingy on the amount of chicken, pork and prawns they are putting in.
