🇦🇺So glad I decided to go to this pub for my 🇦🇺Australia Day drink! 🥳 The locals were wonderful, we talked about everything from old Holden's to hitchhiking! They told me about the gorgeous, original, Ladies Room, explaining how before the 1960s when a lady chained herself to the bar, women were not allowed in the pub, only in the Ladies Room!

The other Ladies room, was the best bathroom I have been in for a while; love the checkered floor, and the full size doors.

A magnificent pub, a true gem in country Victoria. I couldn’t tell if it’s under restoration or whether parts of the pub is actually falling down but this adds to the charm. Perhaps not for the faint hearted, I don’t think there is food service, it has a welcoming bar with friendly locals to share a beer with. I will be bringing my friends here as it’s one of those legendary establishments that you will tell your grand children that you had a beer at the North...

Locals bar on the wrong side of the tracks. As old school as they come and oozing with history. Seems to be half derelict and half under long term renovation. You sit at the bar and talk to people. It’s cash only, doesn’t appear to do food but service is great. Some of the inner city hipster daytrip types will likely not like it but I loved it...
