Subway — Restaurant in Victoria

Terrible Subway! Incredibly expensive compared to other franchises and very poor service for the following reasons: I ordered two footlong subs and there was basically a 6-inch worth of cheese provided so I asked the server to please cover the length of the footlong. The server decided to charge me for extra cheese without telling me (I only realised after the payment was made because I took a copy of the tax invoice without them noticing). If you’re going to charge extra for something that should’ve been done correctly in the first place, you should be upfront with the customer. Secondly, they put hardly any salads on the subs. I had to ask multiple times for extra salad and this was still under the minimum quantity compared to other Subways. Thirdly, they charged for a footlong worth of extra meat when I specifically requested a 6-inch worth of salami (again, I only realised after payment was made when reading the tax invoice). Fourthly, they are not upfront at the register when entering in the items and just slap you with the price. Fifthly, it is rude to sweep the floor underneath the table where people are eating (especially when it is not their mess and from the previous customer). Ordered a takeaway chicken footlong on the app, pick it up and take it home to my sick partner to find it has no chicken in it!!!! Can you actually believe it!! I then called the store to tell them this and they weren’t helpful at all, told me to ring back in 10 minutes after they spoke to the manager, I then called back to find the manager’s response was that he needed to look back on the cameras as the staff member in question couldn’t remember if he put chicken in it or not? Stopped in a quick lunch on Saturday Feb 24th. Hubby ordered a foot long tuna and the tuna looked terrible. More sauce or mayo than tuna.

My 6 inch BMT was pretty average.

Bloke making the subs didn’t seem real interested. Salads were very light on. Asked us did we want avo and wanting to upsell when we wanted the basics.

Also quite expensive compared to subway in my local area.
