Got a birthday cake for my partner which is a pastry chef, asked politely to make it extra special. Didn’t even show me the cake I stupidly trusted the guy, paid and left. When I opened it I was honestly disappointed considering the pricing of these cakes. They make the ones in the display fridge look so good. But really rushed when in comes to paying customers.. won’t be back! Definitely recommend the one in highton. It seems they don’t know how to make cakes properly. Since the shop open I bought cakes from here 3 times. Last two times were really disappointed. Second time they had a card reader error and had to transfer the money, that time they forgot to reduce my $5 discount and I realised it when back home, but they already took the discount receipt. The last time I bought a cheese cake for my son’s birthday & the writing on the cake topper couldn’t be any uglier than that plus name written wrong. It was my mistake that I didn’t check it before i leave but Belmont shop always show it before you take it away. Trying to support a local business is not the best option...
