Sushi and dumpling Hub — Restaurant in Victoria

I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I’ve never experienced such poor service in any of the restaurants I’ve been to. My family just moved to Mount Duneed and were excited to try some local places. When we came across sushi and Dumpling hub, we were looking forward to it,, but that excitement didn’t last long.

The girl at the front was extremely rude from the moment I approached her. As I was placing our order (it was a big order) she cut me off with a sharp “just wait,” spoken in a very disrespectful tone!!!! I asked if they had karaage with rice, but she kept insisting on giving us a bento box or honey chicken with rice that’s completely different from what I was asking for

I tried to ask about other menu items, but it was clear she didn’t understand or simply didn’t care. Her attitude made the whole interaction uncomfortable. Another staff member at the front seemed like she wanted to help, but the rude one told her to back off and “just wait” as well.. it’s easy to say it nice you know and You could tell the other girl looked disappointed and even disrespected

Honestly, it was a terrible first impression. I really hope the management trains her properly..no customer should be...

The waitress was so disrespectful. It seemed she could not bear to serve us. I asked for chilli oil she literally threw the saucer with the oil next to my friend.

So many problems but most of all was the disrespectful attitude of the waitress. Went in excited to try a range of Asian dishes with my friends. Tried to order sushi and they said there’s no ‘fish’ prepared. Shanghai dumplings not available.

The food that DID arrive looked and tasted unappetising....

Bento boxes …. amazing!! But for the member of our group who chose lemon chicken it was less than amazing. The chicken on top looked good but hidden underneath was chicken that was inedible. The batter was dark brown, and the chicken like leather. Offered it to my partner who will eat anything, but even he has his limits apparently. I was so disappointed.
