I recently had the pleasure of dining at an extraordinary restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for a treat. Not only did this establishment serve some of the most delectable seafood and pasta dishes I've ever tasted, but the impeccable customer service provided by Anna, our waitress, truly made the experience unforgettable.

Let's start with the star of the show—the food. As a seafood enthusiast, I have high standards when it comes to the ocean's bounty, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. Each dish burst with flavors that highlighted the natural taste of the ingredients, and the meticulous attention to detail was evident in every bite. The succulent shrimp, perfectly seared scallops, and tender lobster tail left me craving more. The kitchen staff certainly knows how to elevate the seafood experience to new heights.

But it wasn't just the seafood that impressed me; the pasta dishes were equally outstanding. Whether it was a classic spaghetti carbonara or a rich seafood linguine, the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauces were robust and full of depth, perfectly complementing the delicate flavors of the seafood. It was clear that the chefs at this restaurant take great pride in their craft, as each dish was a work of culinary art.

While the food alone would be enough to make any dining experience memorable, the exceptional service provided by Anna truly elevated it to another level. From the moment we were seated, Anna greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for her work. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations tailored to our preferences. Her attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our meal. Anna's passion for her job was evident in the way she engaged with every customer, making everyone feel valued and welcomed.

In addition to Anna's exceptional service, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and cozy. The elegant decor, soft lighting, and soothing music created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The staff members were attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt like a VIP.

To conclude, my visit to this remarkable restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of incredibly tasty seafood, remarkable pasta dishes, and the outstanding service provided by Anna made it an unforgettable culinary journey. If you're looking for a dining experience that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend this restaurant. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized and your...

Yesterday on 31 March, we booked a table for our late lunch as the stop point to Philip Island. We understood they charged us for the holiday surcharge, but the service is worst than your corner take away shop.

It was hardly to find a parking on that day, so I asked my mates to get the table first. I tried to get the menu from my partner, when I sat in. The waitress just stopped me and tried to take the menu out in between me and my partner hand. I felt annoying and I asked gently to have a look the menu for our order. In total, this waitress was at least 5 times to force take the menu. When I tried to order more food, this waitress persuaded us that the table is small so not for more food. Therefore, four starving stomachs only order one grilled fish, one sea food pasta and two entree to make she happy.

Food review: Fish is too hot for kid Oyster is so so and not really strong taste (I am from Tassie, so I tried the better and fresh one) Burger good Seafood pasta taste match the price

Missing my drink order was also happened. I already disappointed their service and did not want to communicate with them anymore. I decided to cancel my drink order when we checked the bill. The same waitress said if the table doesn’t come with, it should not on the invoice with mean tone. I said let me see please and she opened the page and I tried to touch the iPad and have a look. She scolded to stop me and said you see that’s nothing here!!! We eventually paid for 283 with little food, small table, bad services with holiday surcharge.

Last but not least, not really tourist friendly...

Disappointing Experience at The Rocks, Mornington

We decided to have lunch by the sea at The Rocks Mornington, booking online for 2:15 pm. Arriving half an hour early, we were seated at the bar, where I asked for a glass for my bottled beer. Unfortunately, the glass came straight from the glass washer—warm and unpleasant, which made my beer warm and flat. I could only drink about three-quarters of it.

When 2:15 pm came around, we had to ask where our table was. After being seated, we ordered oysters, which were fresh and delicious. However, things went downhill after that. I ordered the kingfish, which was cut too thick, and the puffed rice was stale with no flavor. We decided to try the mussels next, but when we asked the waiter if bread came with the dish, she assured us it would, adding that we could order more if needed. When the mussels arrived, they were cold, and we realized we needed more bread. We couldn’t find our waiter to ask for it, so we asked someone else, and it took another ten minutes for the bread to arrive, by which time the mussels’ sauce was also cold.

To top it off, the waiter placed my new beer directly on top of spilled tomato sauce on the paper menu. Throughout the meal, the table was piled with empty plates, glasses of wine, and water, and we had to stack the plates ourselves. Worst of all, despite everything, no one ever asked if we were enjoying our meal, and we were unexpectedly charged a Sunday surcharge.

Overall, the service was appalling, and the food didn’t make up for it. I’m sorry, but I won’t be returning to...

Insta: melbfoodie_mark YT: MelbFoodieMark ** Check them out for more food reviews in Melbourne! - Such a great way to top off a day trip to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Was contemplating between The Rocks and some other restaurant but glad we decided to come here instead. The Rocks was a solid choice. Keeping it short, The Rocks had all the qualities needed to make the dining experience pleasant. Delicious fresh foods, prompt friendly service, and a great selection of wines straight from Mornington. Very safe bet if you are going for a nice romantic seafood dinner. My favourites were their Tempura Oysters, Seafood Spaghetti and Lamb Shoulder. They were all bloodly delicious. Can't say they were the best I've ever had but definitely above average. 0 complaints. Also, would love to try their Seafood Platter next time. Too bad they didn't offer at the time. It was too dark for us to enjoy the view at the time but I have no doubt the view's sick during the day considering how it's located right by the pier. In fact, go for a walk towards pier. It's dark and intimate - such a great bonding opportunity if you know what I'm saying. There were heaps of people fishing which was pretty cool as well.

A Fantastic place to spend an amazing time with friends, familly and colleagues. The stunning view of the sea and the delicious food makes it "a must go"culinary destination on the Peninsula. The tempura soft shell slider with gochujan chilli mayo in black bun is just magnificent .The o'Connor's dried aged roasted beef with kale salad and pomegranate seeds just shows here they know food well ( not surprising ,when the owner Robert is italian and extremely passionate about food and flavours). So,if you fancy an authentic italian speciality here is the place.I loved the Cesarecee pasta alla Norma, just hits the taste buds(eggplant,Paolo Petrilli organic pealed tomatoes, basil pesto and ricotta salad). The King salmon filet grilled with petit salad and duck san choy bau are just fantastic option for lunch ot light dinner too.You can't definitely finish your meal without trying the absolutely delightful cheesecake or profiterol with vanilla or espresso icecream. The staff are great,we had Rachel last night as our waitress. She was fantastic, very polite, welcoming and very efficient.I would strongly recomnend if you are in the Peninsula definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed
