Absolutely disgusting food. The only nice thing was the fortune cookies and soft drinks.
Firstly our order was cold once it arrived.
Now onto flavour, the honey chicken tasted like the kitchen ran out of honey and substituted marmalade thinking that would be alright. It was thick sauce that made us feel nauseous after eating. It was not nice at all. The chicken was almost non existent and the batter was soggy and underdone towards the centre.
The Mongolian beef tasted like soy sauce. No garlic flavours no spice, just soy and overly salty. There wasn't alot of vegetables either. One piece of broccoli and a few slivers of other veggies does not make a Chinese dish.
The fried rice looked and tasted like you reheated someone's in shop leftovers. It was abysmal.
And the kids nuggets meal is just 5 barely cooked cheap and nasty processed chicken nuggets haphazardly plopped in a bag with no care at all.
Other than all that they also forgot our prawn chips which was the only reason we ordered from here in the first place as they're my son's favourite and sent a can of coke when I ordered sprite (again Sprite is my son's favourite)
So thank you Chefs Delight for helping us decide to never order from you again as your food is foul and even my dogs wouldn't eat it.
I could cook better with a blindfold on and my hands bound...

I’ve been travelling to many regional and rural areas in Australia, including holiday hotspots and remote towns. This restaurant stands out, simple, clean, the dish was perfectly balanced Beef with Cashew stirfry, the rice was fluffy. Genuinely surprised. I’ve read some of the previous low reviews and am like, if you buy fried/stirfried dishes and drive 30 mins home held inside a plastic container then what did you expect for it to taste like? Oh when you got home your food became cold, reheat them? Don’t listen to them. I’ll be coming back. Recommend eating...
Read moreAfter a certain point in the evening on a weeknight, dining in Wagga Wagga is usually confined to just the fast food outlets. Hence my delight when I found Chef’s Delight still open around 9pm! Even better was the fact that this place was incredibly reasonable on pricing and generous in servings. The food was made quickly and tasted amazing! Beats the fast food...
