It’s 23/10 and I just finished my meal .

I write this review to the cow who produced the meal I had , and to the cooks here at ‘The Victoria Hotel ‘

300g Scotch Fillet , medium, salad and coleslaw.

The meal was fantastic and I now know what I’m having for dinner tomorrow night .

One of the best steaks I’ve had .

Lovely char taste, tender , good marble … on point !

@Cow: I feel you had a good life , thank you and rest in peace.

@Chef : I believe I can speak on behalf of the cow and said you did he/her proud , and from me … thank you so much . It was amazing.

24/10 - The Victoria Hotel …. You Win !! 2 from 2. Was scared that I my experience on 23/10 was gonna be a lucky one . But nope ! Returned here and the Scotch was soooo good . You guys give most pubs in Sydney a run for their money .

Steak again on point , slaw was right and the chips ( yeah I know ! I went carbs) they were delicious , not just your run of the mill side , actually good chips. Like the ol days give me those chips in a bag with the gravy… that aside … steak was the winner ! Got medium rare this time and it was cooked to perfection . Chef… thank you! …. Cow … thank you !!

I know where I’ll be going in future when back in Wagga Wagga .

Highly recommend!!!

And staff have been super friendly too .

Kind regards Jerry

Very disappointed, we've been regulars for the past couple of years & the past couple of weeks visiting haven't been great... And this week's visit, was the last straw... we came in for lunch today with some friends. Lamb Cutlets unavailable, Crumbed Steak Unavailable... Ended up ordering a couple of Chicken Schnitzels, a Steak & a Roast.. Chicken Schnitzels were over cooked & dry like they had been cooked earlier & just re- heated, chips were cold, steak was ordered medium & came out still mooing, gravy was lumpy & thick, hollandaise sauce, stone cold, like it was served straight from the fridge, potato gratin was very salty, sloppy & tasteless & veggies were still cold and raw. Asked for fresh veggies on the roast & they just chucked the whole plate in the microwave. Cooks also serving food with hands, no gloves or proper hygiene. Approached the Cooks about the issues, who just seemed to not really care, pass the blame & rolled their eyes. Blonde haired girl that took our order, who usually cooks was great and is an absolute asset to the pub, waitress & bar staff were also good. Food & Cooks big thumbs down 👎 We...

Went out on Saturday night with a friend. Went to the toilet on my own. I don't know why the two younge female staff members thought I had someone else in there with me having an extra special time but they banged on the door extremely aggressively. I thought it was someone being impatient to use the toilet. When I told them to go away they again aggressively banged on my door. I told them to go away because I was doing a wee. All they said was "oh, are you doing a wee or have you got someone in there with you." I was very confused. They waited for me to exit and looked fully convinced of catching me in the act. No apology, nothing. Yes, I had been drinking. No I was not entertaining anyone in my cubicle. I may have been catching my breath. I don't know but maybe they had the wrong cubicle. I thought staff were there to make you feel safe not invade your privacy when there is nothing going on. Maybe some more training wouldn't go astray. This experience has been on my mind ever since. It's quite a traumatic...

very high quality country pub. here in Wagga Wagga for a night. and stumbled on this place. busy. not pumping. (But it was Wednesday evening). The food must have been good cause there was a 6 person line to order. and we were not disappointed. (Side note. they have these cool non-buzzer things that you take to your table and somehow with the invent of technology. they know where to bring your food) and low and behold. boom. in minimum time. out food arrives. and whoooo boy!!!! my son ate his first brisket burger. and we didn’t hear from him. I had the lamb shanks and the only thing I can complain about is it didn’t fall off the bone as I would have liked. but hey when in Rome. right. decent price. well done.
