We were recommended to this place for breakfast, and we were not disappointed at all. There are not many seats in the restaurant, but plenty more in the backyard. We ordered the brew eggs benny and the cauliflower salad. The eggs benny was served on two pieces of sourdough bread which was from famous Artisan Baker. The concoction was well executed, tasting amazing and super yummy. It actually looked too pretty to be eaten. The cauliflower salad was another hit to the tastebud. It was very well seasoned and delicious. I never knew cauliflower could taste that good. The coffee was also very good, much better than other places that I have been. Do get to this place early as it gets very busy later in the morning.

The staff is lovely and very friendly. The food and coffee are really good as well. Also they support a lot of local products. I have tried: Egg benedicts Hotcake Roasted lamb Pork Schnizel burger All of them are good, just the burger is a little bit sweeter than what I like, probably because of the sauce in the coleslaw combined with the brioche bun. One of the best coffees in town, hands down! Every time I come here, I'm blown away by how good the coffee is. The beans are perfectly roasted, and there's this amazing subtle flavor that you just can't find anywhere else. Seriously, if you haven't tried coffee from this place yet, you are totally missing out. Trust me, it's that good.

The only table available when we went in still had the prior customers dirty mugs, cutlery etc. It took a while before someone cleared this, but it was done without being asked, although they did only clear half of it and returned sometime later and cleared the rest (inefficient), with no wiping of the table.

We ordered scrambled eggs on toast and coffee. The coffee came out relatively quickly and the coffee was okay, but not extra hot as requested, merely barely warm. It was definitely sometime before the eggs on toast were served. The staff serving it did apologise for the long wait. It wasn't until after we left that I ascertained what was wrong with the eggs. The eggs had been mixed with a fork and then had been cooked in a microwave, without actually being rebeaten or anything. So they weren't nice "fluffy cloud-like scrambled eggs", it was more like a plain rubbery omelet which we were served. The place was very busy, but that is no excuse for a long wait to be served very ordinary eggs. Good scrambled eggs aren't that difficult to make.

It was sustenance only, not a pleasant breakfast out. If I had to describe in one word it would be "Uninspiring".

I can forgive a lack of service if there is great food, but the food...

The staff processed our order quickly, but I felt the service was lacking in two respects. Firstly, I asked if the BLT was made with sourdough - the staff member did not know, and did not offer to find out for me. Secondly, we were not asked if we enjoyed our meal, nor were we farewelled. The BLT was quite ordinary in taste - very little of the advertised truffle aioli on the sandwich, making it quite dry, especially with 'ordinary' bread. I would not be in a hurry to return or...
