Visited Logans Cafe today for lunch and while the food was very good, I cannot say the same about their customer service. We reached there at 1:40pm and after 3 minutes of sitting down, a waitress came to us and said we had to order right away as the kitchen was closing down. Which was fair enough, because they close at 2:30pm. We received our lunch at 2:05pm, and within 2 minutes of getting our lunch, another waitress approached us said, I Quote "I know you guys have just received your meal, but just to let you know, we are closing in 10 minutes." This was absolutely absurd, because in my mind, she basically said, YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES LEFT TO FINISH YOUR MEAL. Very poor customer service, and the staff looked like they were in rush to just get out of there, with no respect or courtesy to their customer. This is despite the restaurant close time at 2:30pm. We basically rushed in eating our meal and left, and could not really enjoy it. As far I know, Good Customer Service involves the staff waiting until the customer finishes their meal, and not enforcing it upon the customers with a time limit to finish their meal (25 mins) before their close time. We also witnessed another unhappy customer approaching them and talking to them regarding this, to which another waitress had said to them "If you cannot finish your meal, then we can give you a takeaway box for it." Unbelievable. Very Poor Customer Service from a place that makes great food. I hope in the future the staff can be mindful about these aspects, and focus on giving customers a pleasant experience to dine in.
