We ordered room service. Food arrived barely warm after about 45minutes... We ordered a chicken schnitzel, a chicken Parma and a spaghetti carbonara. Firstly, the chicken tasted like one of the frozen chicken from Coles or Woolies. It does not taste nice. The Parma even had a weird, rubbery taste to it. Half way through the meal, we found some area of the Parma was actually undercooked. It is shocking to say the least. Definitely not what you will expect a 4.1 star restaurant to be. The carbonara is just acceptable. But in all of these bad experience, one of the restaurant staff, Tony, was extremely friendly and helpful in our situation. Answered our call with professionalism and upon hearing our disatisfaction, he quickly came to our room to assist and removed the chicken Parma from our order. Overall, don't eat here. Better off driving to city centre for better and cheaper food.

Seriously amazing! Vegetarian and Vegan options (alongside seafood/meat)... I will put my hand up and recommend the vegan mains! Dessert: loved the texture and flavour in the banana parfait! I tried it because I wanted to give vegan a fair go. I wasn’t sure about the description because of my own bias with coconut cream being too strong in flavour. But this was really subtle coconut tone and big light creamy texture! Thank u for having vegan options, I’m leaning towards more plant based food and weaning myself off dairy! Flavours were great, ate everything! Except the plant based meat, maybe mushrooms would’ve been better for flavour and texture.. and cashew cream sauce was quite chunky, that could hav been the intended effect, but seriously loved everything! And service!! Was awesome :) all female crew that night, u girls rock! :):)

This is during COVID times so understandably there’s minimal atmosphere in the small dining space - however that doesn’t excuse poor food when you’re paying for decent dining out prices. My starter was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. A half warmed block of cheap Camembert, cold chewy toast, guacamole which was brown and either old or came from a tube (did not taste like anything). There was supposed to be mango chutney which wasn’t on the plate. I regretted asking for it as it tasted terrible. I wouldn’t expect this type of plate to be served up at a backpackers or hostel, let alone a 4 star hotel restaurant. Luckily the mains were a lot less disappointing, but the bar was pretty low, so anything would be good after that! Not worth the price, they need some improvements in the menu and kitchen.

It's an ok first time experience but nothing extraordinary about it. It's all about advertising and the place feels like a money making enterprise. The hotel rooms are very ordinary and if you are looking for a luxury place, it's not definitely the hotel you are looking for. The view is very limited and the form of the windows won't give you a nice view. My room was supposed to have an ocean view but all I could see was the ceiling of the sanctuary and the carpark. The staff are friendly in the hotel reception and the restaurant but those working in the sanctuary look like they dont like what they are doing! They are rude and really really unfriendly. I have a very disappointing experince with them. We booked for an afternoon session but forgot about the day and realized the day after. I went to a staff member and explained my situation and kindly asked him if he could just give me 5 minutes to go in the sanctuary and take a few photos. He was very rude and turned us away. Later I went to the manager of the sanctuary and asked her if she could give me 5 minutes because they were fully booked and we were not able book another spot. She didn't show any empathy and blamed everything on Covid blah blah blah and the privacy of other. Anyway the choice she gave me was to go to the fifth level and take a photo from the top (what a clever idea!). Then we had another booking with the private bathe in the Bathhouse. The so called private bathe was a tiny room with a creepy pool a remainder of SAW movie series with a very high white ceiling! All the walls around the bathe were rusty perfect match to kill the vibe! It feels like you are there to wash a dead body in a horror movie. It wasn't relaxing at all and we kind of felt we had to go out quickly because we couldn't bear standing there more than 5 minutes.

This place won't be our choice again and we would recommend other places for a cheaper price and...

Extremely disappointed at the service received tonight. I’ve been staying at the hotel for the last 3 years for work but our experience received at the bistro was beyond appalling.

We were seated and waited for over 15 minutes with no service. Other patrons who were coming in AFTER us were being served but we weren't. I then proceeded to ask one of the waitresses if she could come serve once she was ready and for some table water, for her to then CONTINUE to start serving other patrons who came in after us for us to wait another 5 minutes before receiving any service.

Once finally being served, I ordered 2 entrees and 1 main and asked if these meals had any nuts due to an allergy, then for her to come back after checking with the chef and say “the kitchen is too busy to check if any of these meals have nuts”, I then asked what meals I can have and was given an extremely vague and unsure answer for her to say “I can take a guess for you” which is extremely insulting for someone with a life threatening allergy (For the record, the menu has dietary requirements for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and if there is a GFO / DFO / VGO etc, but nothing for nuts… so how were we to know?).

I have never received such bad service or ever encountered a restaurant that hasn’t even bothered to want to accomodate for an allergy before. If anyone wants a good meal with great service - “Images Restaurant” is 5 minutes...

Not happy Jan

Service is ok, it would be 4 stars Food is Ok, can say 4 stars Rest not good, you decide. I am giving 3 stars just because of nice food and service. This happened on the first night of our stay at Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs. Menue of restaurant looked appealing and we decided to give it go especially to seafood plater for two. And I wanted seafood chowder too. So, wee arrived made booking as has been requested. Being in such a location I expected nice ambiance, ocean views and cozy restaurant, but instead met with white walls and cold ambience. Regardless, it was our first night at hotel,we didn't want to be disappointed, we ordered Shild Estate Merlot from Barossa Valley. On our suprise, they didn't have it. Nor seafood plater or chowder. They have nicely put them on the menu. Instead they had a couple of main meals on special. One of them, chicken breast which we ordered. Other meal was traditional grilled fish and chips. To be honest, the menu looked great but they didn't even try to tell us when we made reservation, they do not have seafood except traditional fish and chips. Is it too hard to cross over "favorites" dishes or any other, together with drinks they cant offer to their guests? At the end they tried to charge us higher price for chicken breast. Conclusion, we are...
