Food was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had the wild rice, quinoa porridge with seasonal fruits and it was bursting with flavour and deliciousness! I am desperate for the recipe however it looks like I'll just have to travel to Warnambool once every few months to eat it, so please never take it off the menu! I was told to get the nutty Nana smoothy and I ses why. Absolutely great! So crunchy and filling as well. Completely satisfied!

The service was prompt once we sat, however the staff didn't seem very friendly and when we arrived they said they had some bookings which is fine, but there were some spaces and one girl said we had an hour to eat which was fine with us and the next said no it wasn't so maybe not great communication between them. I felt like I had to push to get us a spot though and there was at least 2 tables shared with other people that were available. Luckily they asked after I'd pushed for that. We thought it was a little strange though that they were almost irritated by us asking and would have been happy to loose us as customers.. a very different vibe to Torquay/Geelong or Melbourne ..

There was plenty of parking available and it seemed quite close to the farmers market too so that was good. Otherwise it wasn't close to other cafes.

Hopefully the staff can get some more training on customer service to make it a nicer experience. Even my friend wanted to ask something once she got her meal but was cut off and the lady walked away from her. Aside from that though, for me the food outweighed that part of the experience and I still have to give 5 stars as it was the best breakfast I've had in...

I visited this café today and unfortunately had an upsetting experience that affected my mood during what was meant to be a relaxing outing.

While I was eating, a staff member came to clean up leftover chips on the table, which were from the previous customer. I simply said, “That was left over by the last customer, not me,” to clarify the situation. However, the staff member suddenly responded by saying “You are very rude!” and then walked back into the café, loudly telling other staff and customers negative things about me. I was shocked and hurt, especially since I had done nothing wrong.

Later, I realised that the staff member may have had Down syndrome, and I completely understand that communication can sometimes be misunderstood in these situations. Shortly after, the café owner came to speak with me and explained their good intentions in hiring him, which I truly appreciated. I expressed my understanding and even mentioned that next time, I could perhaps say something more positive like, “It's good to clean it up,” to help avoid any confusion.

While I fully support inclusion and diversity in the workplace, I also believe that customers deserve to be treated fairly and not be publicly accused for no reason. I hope this feedback can help improve communication and support for training for staff so that everyone can have a...

Yeah, food was okay, nothing to scream about and a little too pricey for what it is. It’s suppose to be a beach kiosk - but for who? I think they’re trying too hard to please every demographic, from those with finer taste, to those who want something simple and unfortunately what you’re left with, is a strange array of choices and then left with little choices but the obvious - an over-priced Chiko Roll or the Panna Cotta, Chips and Gravy or Eggs Benedict They’ve totally over-complicated the menu. Nothing simple, or in between. Had the cheese burger, myself, which came with chips. It was pretty ordinary and lacked any presentation, would have preferred to pay more for two kings burger in town. The breakfast eggs and smashed avocado looked okay and wife and relatives said they enjoyed theirs. Breakfast menu is nothing different and a little try hard - it’s the lunchtime menu that doesn’t seem to fit into the beach scene here. I probably wouldn’t eat here again, unless I was forced to and someone else paid for me. On a another note- What is it with waiters and service staff in Warrnambool? None of them seem to give that one thing that will always make a days outing that little much better; a smile and a little pleasantry - I guess that takes a little more experience; public relations is not...

Always enjoy going to the Kiosk. In the parkland behind the dunes at Warrnambool beach, a lovely walk along a greenway from Warrnie station, so the location is really pleasant. Obvs busy on sunny holidays, but the staff are nice and service efficient. On a fine day during summer holidays, I only waited about 5 minutes for my coffee, and 10 mins for my meal. Nice! Vegan menu choices are limited, but I am totally happy with the fruit quinoa porridge: delicious, fresh, nourishing, everything good 😋 👍 Access for wheelchairs, prams is good. Family friendly.

BEST POTATO CAKE OF MY LIFE!!! Batter light crispy and the potato was creamy. As an Neurodivergent girlie I eat potatoes like they are the air I breathe and so I have tried many a potato cake but nothing compares to this one. Slightly devastated that I don’t live in Warrnambool and just passing through. The fish was also melt in your mouth. Cooked perfectly. Right amount of extra chicken salt. I only took a video so it looks like a bad blurry photo but trust me this was epic. And quite possible the BIGGEST potato cake too!
