Hylin Cafe is an absolute gem, exuding trendy vibes with its industrial-chic ambiance. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by an atmosphere that effortlessly blends modern aesthetics with a touch of urban sophistication.

The Open Breaky Burger was a delight for the senses, perfectly capturing the essence of a hearty breakfast in every bite. The combination of crispy bacon, tangy mayo, crunchy rosti, smooth avocado and a perfectly cooked egg nestled between fluffy buns was simply divine. Each component complemented the other, resulting in a symphony of flavors that left me craving more.

And let's not forget about their white coffee, a velvety smooth concoction that provided the perfect caffeine kick to start the day on the right note. Its rich aroma and smooth flavor profile were the ideal accompaniment to the indulgent breakfast burger.

My partner opted for the Mushrooms on Toast, a dish that showcased the cafe's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary excellence. The earthy flavor of the mushrooms, paired with the subtle tanginess of the dukkah, white bean paste, wilted kale and a poached egg on toast, created a harmonious balance that left her satisfied and content.

To wash it all down, she enjoyed the Pash Tango Smoothie, a refreshing blend of tropical fruits (orange, passionfruit, mango and pineapple) that transported her taste buds to paradise with every sip. Its vibrant colors and refreshing taste made it the perfect beverage to accompany her meal.

Overall, our experience at Hylin Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. The pricing reflects this, but I still feel it is value for money considering the quality and care taken presenting the food. From the trendy ambiance to the delectable food and beverages, every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations. The music selection would be better to go for a more chilled cafe vibe but other than that we'll definitely be returning to indulge in their culinary...

First experience review of

First Impressions & Vibe – 4/5 The location and setting are definitely a highlight. The atmosphere was bright, happy, and inviting. Inside, it felt a little cramped with limited space to move around, but nothing unmanageable.

The Menu & Food The menu was fairly standard – nothing that jumped out. That said, dishes being carried past us looked vibrant and fresh. • Hylin Bruschetta – 2.5/5 When a dish bears the name of the café, it sets the bar high. Sadly, this one didn’t quite deliver. While the ingredients were clearly fresh and of good quality, the flavours didn’t blend or pop. It felt a bit underwhelming. • Breakfast Burrito – 2/5 I usually love burritos for the punchy, layered flavours they can offer – but this one was disappointingly bland. A missed opportunity. • Iced Latte – 3/5 I had originally asked for a filter coffee, but they were out. Settled for an iced latte, which was just okay – not particularly well balanced.

Service – 3/5 Service was polite but a bit slow. Not unpleasant, just not memorable.

Price Point Unfortunately, the experience was made worse by a hefty public holiday surcharge. For what we ordered, the final bill felt steep, especially considering the underwhelming food.

Great, vibey little brunch spot. Came here today with high expectations and I was not disappointed! Menu reads really well, so difficult to choose just a couple of dishes.

We arrived to a line out of the door and no table space in sight, so decided to grab coffees first and wait outside, biding our time. The queue went down surprisingly fast and whilst ordering, a gorgeous looking lemon cheesecake slice called out to me (it would be rude not to take it). We devoured it in matter of minutes, by which point a table became available.

My partner and I ordered the Brisket Benny and the Chicken Burger to share, both were equally incredible. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good, smothered in a tangy yet creamy chipotle hollandaise. It was heavenly. The chicken thigh in the burger was super juicy on the inside, with the perfect crunch on the outside. The fluffy bun was filled with all the yummy stuff needed for a decent bite.. what not to love? Oh and the fries were superb too!

Staff were super friendly, despite being extremely busy.. smiles all round.

Will most certainly be back,...

Menu looks amazing and the variety is great. We had the fried chicken croissant, which was very good. The most disappointing part was the poached egg — it was fully boiled. Not sure how this happened, but it’s the first time I’ve ever received a completely boiled egg instead of a poached one. My girlfriend had the shakshuka, which was good, especially the bread, but a little too sweet. Then we tried the French toast — an absolute must-try! It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The toasted coconut pairs beautifully with the sauce, and the bread was just on point. Overall, it’s a well-balanced and well-crafted dish. The ambience is great, and the coffee and juices are also good. Overall, this place is worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back to try other dishes. Table for Two Sith & Marta
