💔 I'm so heartbroken to have to call defeat and be this messenger. ✔️From day 1, I was sooo excited by the word "organic" occupying 1/3 of the name of the restaurant. It showed commitment. ✔️The website claimed that they favour certified organic ingredients when possible, even listing some suppliers. ⛳ TBH, I was surprised by the "when possible", because our Perth retailers of certified organic foods have plenty on offer every day of the year. So we assumed it must be a money thing, and let that go. 💎 What a rare gem! Take my money! I even don't care when it doesn't taste great, if it's not trying to make me ill. I don't even care if it's not certified organic! If the grower is ticking all the boxes under their control to keep crap out of the food, and just not dishing out $$$ for a cert, I'm happy to trust & support. ☝️That's how reasonable my standards are. ⛳ My partner is the type that will join me for things he doesn't like, just to be supportive. And he claims to love all edibles. However, after 2 visits (his 1st one and my bday one), he flat out refuses to eat here. He won't even go to make me company. I can't even use the "but it's for our special day" card! I have to go alone or invite others, instead. Another red flag I've been underplaying! How desperate I must be... Since 8 Dec 2021, which is when I first started taking the massive detour to go here when I can, even for my birthday, and recommending it in blind faith, the truth is that I haven't yet been able to ascertain if ANY of what I was eating was grown in the over industrialised way or not. ⛳ When I ask staff about meals, they answer about juices. Or they don't know. ⛳ When I suggest an escalation, the buyer is not available on site/phone to clarify. ⛳ A straightforward answer would be like this: "This week, the dish with the highest amount of organically grown ingredients is the casserole. It has this and that certified, and that and this not certified but organically grown." Instead, when it comes, the reply is generic, imprecise, and feels eerily lawyer-appproved. (unsure if it's legal to share here) Did I misdirect my query to an oil company instead? ⛳ As a conscientious buyer willing to pay extra for organic, I cannot choose a dish to buy, with that quality of info. ⛳They're so straightforward about which dishes are gluten-free, vegetarian, what type of sugar. But not about what's organic. ⛳Many eateries do GF, V etc. Where is the point of difference, on my plate, to justify: 1. the detour, 2. the price, 3. my trustworthy recommendations to friends & strangers, and 4. other similar eateries losing business because they don't claim to offer organics? ⛳ Despite multiple communication boards throughout, none provide the bit of info that supports 1/3 of the name of the restaurant. 🤷🏼‍♀️This is too much like green washing: to have organic in the name but not be able to point out where the organic is, on any dishes, at any time, at any level of the hierarchy, for over 03 years. ⛳The final red flag was when I stopped taking food pics. Trust had been breached irreparably. My rational brain doesn't allow me to patronise anymore and my conscience urges me to finally speak up about the 🐘 in the room. Please remove the word "organic" from the name of the restaurant or sort this out. I'm really not expecting too much. And finally willing to admit it. Until then, the dream is over. 😥 Thank goodness for my partner's willingness to cook for us. 🙏 We trust our 100% certified organic grocery shop and farmers, and he cooks tasty & Ayurvedically (love incl.), which trumps all but the Noongar foods. 🤤

Lovely small cafe serving veggie packed foods. There's lots of plant based savoury, and dessert options. There are a few small tables indoors for dine-in, but it looks like a lot of business is for take-away coffees and fridge foods like rolls, salad, vegan savour tarts. We got the breakfast hash, nourish bowl, butternut Mac and cheese, pina colada cheezecake, and a raspberry and cream muffin. The plates are full of veggies and tasted flavourful and healthy. I had the nourish bowl and it came with a generous dollop of hummus, half and avocado, pickled purple cabbage, grilled vegetables and brown rice. Everything was covered in a tangy sauce and dukkah. It was filling and satisfying. The Mac and cheese was really delicious, made with butternut pumpkin, it was a lighter version of Mac and cheese with a pleasantly sweet and nutty flavour. The noodles were nicely cooked too. The cheezecake was not too sweet, which was nice, but I found the flavours weren't very punchy. It was pineapple and coconut. The base was nice and crumbly with flax or linseeds added. The texture of the cake was a little bit gluggy, in the way that coconut cream can be a little bit slippery. Having said that, it was still creamy and not bad for a vegan cake. Service was friendly and fast. There's a few bays of parallel parking available on the street in front of the shop and across the road.

Went here for brunch. I had the Turkey burger which came with sweet potato fries and a dip, and for my drink I had the mushroom latte. The Mushroom latte surprisingly didn't taste like mushroom, it moreso tasted like a hot chocolate which was better than my expectations of thinking it may taste like mushrooms. The Turkey burger and sweet potato fries were very nice and filling, I wasn't able to finish my sweet potato fries. I'd recommend the Turkey burger if you're hungry and wanting something meaty, as this would hit the spot. My friend got the corn fritters with a lavendar latte. She enjoyed her meal however, her lavendar latte in her words tasted like bathroom soap. I had a sip and understood that she was correct. Similar to the 'Fluffy' softener brand. The recipe would need to be modified if we were ever to order the lavendar latte again. Other then that, good service and nice location! Would love to taste the strawberry and cream matcha latte next!
