Back Bar — Restaurant in West Leederville

I do not like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately I do feel the following reasons are valid to do so. We were super keen to try out your food, but we were overall very disappointed. $10.00 Parmi, really is not $10 as you need to buy a drink on top of each which is very well hidden on your posts on social media (very misleading). It took an hour for our 2 chicken parmigianas to be served, they were room temperature and the chips were over cooked and also cold! We understand it was the $10 Parmi night, but an ETA on the wait times when ordering would have been helpful or maybe putting more staff on. We came with plenty of time to order and eat without rushing and ended up having to rush dinner, pay more for parking and were running late for something on later in the evening. We came down for the cheap burger night, and the place was packed but we still found a spot outside. When I ordered it was very busy and noisy inside and I think the bar person didn’t hear my full order as later we only got half of it delivered. I couldn’t have been more impressed with how they handled it in what was a very busy night. They apologised and took full accountability which is so rare these days, and explained that in the noise part of the the order must have been lost. They brought out an eftpos machine to our table so that we didn’t have to go back to the bar, and they put our order ahead the queue and it came so fast, was still impeccably presented, fresh and delicious just as the previous burger had been. Awful experience. We went specifically for the $10 parmi night (which beware is not $10 because you also have to buy a drink to get that deal). We went to order 3 parmis only to be told there was one left... at 7:30pm... so we decided to share that along with two entrees and some chips. We waited over an hour and a half for two entrees and some chips to turn up, and to be told that there was no parmis left. We were refunded the $10 and had to share two tiny entrees and a bowl of oily chips. The man on the bar was really unkind and did not apologise at all for the inconvenience. Will never be going back or recommending...
