115 Collective — Restaurant in Western Australia

Chanced upon this cafe as a pitstop. Honestly, I had initially thought it was closed as the windows were dark from the outside and the bench umbrellas weren’t opened either (view from the carpark entrance). Btw, lots of parking available. :)

When we walked in, the staff kinda just looked at us and continued with their own conversation, I guess it’s a Saturday morning hustle and bustle? Well anyway, my husband got us the menus and we sat by the window which had a nice chill vibe to it. We kept to simple food as we had a tight schedule.

I had the hand and cheese croissant which had a nice and fluffy pastry with some tasty cheddar. My husband had a breakfast wrap which was really good, it was juicy and the hashbrown was nice and crispy. We had a Nutella brownie too, which was really dense and thiccc. We kinda struggled to finish it, would be good to pair it with a cup of nice hot coffee.

115 is a lovely place to come as a family, or with your laptop to smash out some work over a coffee. The foods and coffee are tasty and well presented, and there are several seating options. The biggest negative is the service. It can be quite slow, and there are a couple of staff members who are a bit half-hearted and distracted. I may be wrong but I suspect the root to the problem is that they their limit their staffing to church members. If their costs are subsidised, it could potentially be justified. However, their prices are above average for a cafe, so it is difficult...

So glad the venue I first went too closed early, so I found 115 Collective 😍 Great cafe for brunch, lunch or coffee. Plenty of room for kids to kick a ball while parents relax.
