After reading all the good reviews about this place I decided to give it a go- I was very disappointed!!! The butter chicken was so so sweet I couldn’t eat it, and it just lacked so much flavour, didn’t taste like an authentic butter chicken at all, just something from out of the jar. The tikka masala was better, however same thing just lacked that flavour. Got the saffron rice and the saffron flavour was overpowering I couldn’t eat that either, but maybe that’s what saffron rice is meant to be like? Naan bread was thin and chewy. This was week 8 of trying different Indian restaurants in the area and have to say was one of the best we have found. Owner / chef was friendly and the service was excellent. Between us we tried chicken, prawn and veg curries and all were of a high standard and the naan breads were lovely. One point to mention was that the chicken was thigh meat which is unusual for round here but still tasty all the same and chef did say breast can be provided, just request when booking. So we have had curries from here quite a few times over the years 😋 they are consistently delicious, the tastiest sauces, perfect moist, pieces of chicken (and I’m so fussy with chicken!!) perfectly cooked rice, naan, poppadoms, homemade raita to go with it all I cannot recommend this place enough! It’s amazing! We’re not even in heathridge anymore but still travel to here anytime we want a curry!!! Our whole family loves it, even the fussy ones!
