I recently visited this establishment to purchase takeaway soup. Before placing my order, I specifically requested that the soup not be spicy, as it was intended for my young daughter. I was assured that this would not be an issue. However, at home when tasting the soup, I found it to be excessively spicy—even for an adult—and overwhelmingly sweet, resembling a simple tomato soup rather than a well-balanced dish. Additionally, the service was disappointing. The staff member at the front desk was neither friendly nor welcoming, which contributed to an overall uninviting atmosphere. Have loved this place for a while and have been many times but tonights food was terrible. My partner stopped eating the food half way through convinced it had gone off. A dodgy sour tasting prawn and some lemon chicken that was definitely on the turn.

The lemon chicken is usually crispy and fresh but today it was soggy and was substandard.

The rice was ok and I ate the Szechuan beef but it wasn't what you would expect from Szechuan. Not even a touch of spice. Could have been any beef dish with no flavour.

Had Dinner here last night. Food was excellent. The prawn omelette was made with large king prawns, the Japanese tofu was really well done, crispy but soft on the inside.
