I enjoyed our meals and the location was great but the pricing and service level is confused. We ordered seafood, naturally. I was driving so I could only enjoy one beer and glad of wine. You pay up front and they also do take away. The prices are expensive, like a full service restaurant but the service is take away standard, so you have to pay as you go. The staff were helpful and nice and we enjoyed oysters, crayfish and a seafood basket. I was really disappointed that the serve sachet tartare sauce, again a low budget choice that does not match the view or prices. Our fisherman basket including some crab product that tasted and looked totally manufactured. The crayfish was delicious, so the standard was totally up and down. I enjoyed our meal and the view was terrific but I will not be going back anytime soon. If you can select the correct dishes maybe recommended but too hit and miss for my liking. Not recommended

The menu said Creamy garlic prawns sauted in Pernod served with jasmine rice. What I got was overpowered gluggy cream sauce with flavourless prawns no Pernod taste or smell to be found, no garlic taste at all and saffron rice all sprinkled with paprika, which I got the taste of. Not happy with 10 prawns and a $33 price tag. No staff bothered to check how my meal was. None in sight as I left. Very average. Lovely view of the Harbour and on a hot afternoon this would be a dream location with its screened outdoor space. Could not sit out there at 5pm opening time with all tables reserved even though no one sat at these before I left.

Aristos Waterfront in Bunbury still delivers decent fish‑and‑chips and postcard‑worthy harbour views, but time hasn’t been entirely kind: the once dog‑friendly open deck is now enclosed to widen the licensed area, the Saturday crowd found half the menu sold out, and the aloof service suggested staff would rather be elsewhere. For what’s left, prices feel steep against other local seafood spots, making it hard to justify the spend despite the nostalgia and a loyal core of regulars. It’s disappointing to watch a former “special‑occasion” icon drift this way, though the location alone will keep it on many shortlists.

The only place we could find lobster at a reasonable price.

Atmosphere: 4/5 Great view, right on the water front and they have blinds/shutters that blocked the wind. You can see out but the blinds don't allow people to look in. I suffer from anxiety so it was nice knowing that people walking past couldn't see me eat.

Food: 3.5/5 Lobster was amazing. My partner had the special of the day with batters whiting and chips. Lobster and whiting were cooked exceptionally, the flavour were such an explosion. The chicken nuggets and chips were surprisingly the best I've had in ages. However the Lasagne was a little disappointing, too much meat and almost no white sauce. Felt like I was eating straight Mince.

Drinks: 4/5 Strawberry milkshake was perfect and ordering one we got 2 out of it because they give you the metal flask thing they use to make it. And the coffee, I have no idea what beans they use but OMG tasted so nice, I didn't need to put sugar with it

Staff: 4/5 Our server/kitchen cook made us feel so welcome. He found common ground with us and we had good conversations with him. He felt like one of our friends from home. We hear him having conversations with all the other customers and he would always leave customers...
