M a r l s t o n H i l l L o o k o u t Beautiful view of Bunbury. Would highly recommend for those who'd like to capture our little town from above. Secure at the top. Looks like a new tradition is forming with people randomly putting up locks. Not to much steps at the lookout so if you have kids, they'll climb it without hassle. Wooden walk ways at the bottom heading towards town. Parking is very limited. There's a bench down the first walk way where you could sit and take it all in and relax.

Marlston Tower 289 steps later from street level, we arrived at the top. There is sea around three quarters of the view but worth it for a look. The views show Back Beach, the former Jetty Road, Koombana Beach and the surrounding town. Most of the new properties are all scrunched up together so no matter how much we want a house by the sea, we wouldn’t take one of these thanks very much! There is a copper display area at the top telling you what you can see in the distance

I walked along the beach, past the lighthouse, to this tower and climbed to the top. I actually felt the climb in my calf’s! 😂. Must mean that I need to do more exercise The view from the top is worth the climb but the safety net is annoying but probably needed. Halfway up is a platform for uninterrupted views. To finish off I walked down the wooded stairs through the gardens. A very pleasant way to finish and then find a coffee shop

A wonderful 360 degree view of the city and ocean. A must see if visiting Bumbury. Free of charge to climb the tower but the gates are locked at a certain time at night. Beautiful grass, gardens and benches along paths and stairs to follow down to street view. Take your time to look around, you wont be disappointed. Limited parking, not ideal for coaches or caravans as there is only one way in and out. Possibly park further along at the beach...
