Beautiful location (preferred the old location but this is still very nice!)!

However the service at the front counter from a soulless woman with zero personality is appalling!

Why would you put someone like that on your front counter!? She is certainly not welcoming to people and she’s not at all helpful. To many people who go straight to the front counter this would be a huge disincentive to stay…

I couldn’t give you her name as she wasn’t wearing a nametag… Well actually she was - it was attached to the BACK of her apron (so behind her) and turned around so there was no name visible… she clearly doesn’t want anyone to know her name!

Another young lady came to the table and she was super helpful and friendly so she saved you from a 1* review!

The presentation of the food was delightful and the eggs were cooked to perfection which is unusual so thank you… the salmon portion was perfect, however the tomatoes were still a bit green & hard and the avocado… I can’t quite put my finger on it but they were acidic so maybe not ripened properly?

The coffee… that I had been looking forward to all morning, a bit like that woman - soulless! Not even sure there’s any coffee in it other than the colour!

I wouldn’t rush back, and if I did it would be to sit outside to...

Absolutely amazing location with a warm inviting atmosphere.

Dome has always been a great Cafe with a wide variety to offer on their menus including seasonal options and a kids menu of course.

The coffee can be good and not so good (burnt).. the food is mostly delicious however today the falafel was frozen in the middle.. the staff offered to replace or refund so the customer service was great.

Prior to today dome had also served me chicken tenders that were raw in the middle so it seems like they need to focus on quality not quantity by rushing meals out as this should never happen. There is plenty of staff but please focus on getting food cooked thoroughly in the future.

The Cafe is gorgeous, extremely large with plenty of tables even during peak times. Tables could be cleaned more frequently though.

Ample parking just out the side and back of Dome. Toilets were clean which is always great.

Pricing is average for Bunbury (basically the same prices as the city of Sydney - go figure).

Overall...

Purely an honestly and truly bad experience. Ordered a single burger with a side of chips which cost $23, not the worst price but certainly expensive. When i got the burger after about 20 to 25 minutes of waiting (yes for one item) it was disgustingly small. The chips were stale and cold. The bacon was burnt to a crisp. The coleslaw tasted like water. The 'fried chicken' was a thin little slice of pre bought chicken with what was supposed to be a buttermilk batter but i couldnt tell you if it was even battered at all. I paid 23 dollars for cold chips and a tiny burger. I could have gone to KFC and gotten a bigger burger, chips that had a taste and a drink for 9 dollars instead of 23. On top of this, the lady who served me looked like she was allergic to smiling and it was all round just not a very nice experience. Definitely do not recommend, and as you can see, this is my first...

Very nice! Dome's new premises are beautiful! The best view from inside and out, across the Koombana bay sailing club water area and on to Koombana bay itself, you can often see the large bulk carrier ships entering and exiting the Bunbury port area under tug boat escort - These are usually loading up alumina from Worsleys alumina refinery. But views aside, Dome's food is always a delight. My wife and I love to go here for morning tea or lunch dates as we love their menu selection and service is always top notch. On our last date we had a nut crunch espreski which was deeeeeelicious! ❤️

Payed a lot of money for the smallest dishes we’ve ever had. 24$ lasagne and the side salad is more than the actual lasagne, and you could clearly tell it had been microwaved plus another 6$ for a small side of chips as they aren’t included in the meal. The loaded parmi was half the size you usually get in a pub. The staff were nice enough although when they brought our things out there were still cups and plates from the last people and they never took them away. Overall the 100$ spent on food and drinks was not worth it at all.
