The rooms here are spacious for couples and quite clean. It's nice to have a small kitchenette with a small fridge. I also like that the room comes with a strong aircon unit. Bed is also quite comfortable for a good night's rest as it was not too soft or too firm. Staff here are really friendly and helpful, especially Vlad. The bathroom felt a bit squeezy with the shower placed right behind the door so it was kinda awkward but compensated with a decent sized bath/spa. There is a large indoor pool, but we didn't get a chance to use it as it was being cleaned due to some guest's "accident". Luckily there is a small beach just outside the back of the hotel. Underground secured parking is very limited to about 10 cars as we were only able to park in the yellow bays, but you can still park outside the hotel in the blue bays. The morning breakfast buffet has adequate options but for $25 it only allowed you a single cup of coffee. Unfortunately they also ran out of the pancakes 🙁 . All in all, it was still a good place to stay.

Sadly, I have to change my review following my stay for my honeymoon. We booked a room with a spa but on the first night noticed it wasn't working. Had several interactions with one staff member about it, we were told it would be fixed the next day. So we asked the following day if it was fixed and were told they would call the maintenance guy back to fix it. We asked the morning of checkout to try and get some compensation for it and were told it was fixed the morning before. So we filled the bath and tried again. Still had the same issues. It's obvious the maintenance guy hadn't fixed it. I wouldn't bother paying for an upgrade and we won't be staying here again. The rooms were clean and well stocked, the shower was amazing! Great water pressure. We were in an internal suite and had breakfast included in our room stay. We'd definitely stay here again The only downside is the bugs as you walk into reception from your room.

Stayed in the superior studio for a work trip. The room and amenities were well suited for a work trip with offerings like an ironing board and a semi-serviced kitchen available. Nice views at the back of the hotel and its located near the city centre which has many restaurants. Staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant and room service have limited offerings and would not recommend eating there if you can as the food is average at best. Room does not supply toothbrushes and toothpaste though so bring your own and don't make the same mistake I did! TV also had plenty of channels including sport. Overall a decent stay!

I stayed at this hotel early January. I provided the below feedback to the lady at the reception. She was lovely and apologetic. She said she would contact Booking.com and request a refund for me. She said they were trying to “get rid off” the current Hotel Manager and if I could write a review about him that would help them, which was a very unprofessional comment to make to a customer, but I can understand why this is the case because since January, I emailed the hotel and the Manager twice, I called twice and Booking.com also called and emailed them and despite to the hotel telling me they will refund me, they still have not responded to me or Booking.com and I still haven’t received the refund they promised me.

I left the hotel a day early as it was not a pleasant stay at all. When I first arrived I found a big snot on the kettle handle which stuck on my hand when I tried to put the cattle on. As you can imagine, it was disgusting. Then I had to avoid touching things in the room.

The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working properly and there was this heavy smell of mold in the room. When I looked at it closely I saw that the corners of the shower screen, behind the soap holder etc. (areas where not cleaned regularly) were covered with mold. Mold can cause serious respiratory issues for many people. It is not acceptable or healthy, especially in these Covid19 days!

There were other people’s hair on the towels!

I could not swim at all not even once as the ocean in front of the hotel was covered with seaweed. It wasn’t a beach suitable to swim. Definitely not how it is advertised on the website.

I ordered room service dinner and it was barely edible!

The room was so dark and was even darker when I had to close the curtains all day as so many other rooms were facing it. Again, not as advertised on the website.

When I first arrived, I asked a gentleman (The lady at the reception later said he was the Hotel Manager) to change my room, he showed me this 2nd room which was not any better, then the initial one, but he said he would look at the availability next day and would give me a better room, but he never contacted me again throughout my stay. The sign outside the hotel said there were availabilities. So, not sure why I was not given another room or why someone at least showed me the courtesy to contact me about my enquiry as they promised. So, I got stuck in that unpleasant room with the heavy mold smell.

It was such an unpleasant experience that first time in my life I had to leave a fully paid hotel early as I could not stay there another day.

It has been more than 2 months and yet, no one has even returned my or Booking.com’s calls or emails. And I am still waiting for my refund after over 2 months when they told me they would process it...

We've stayed here a few times now and there are some features that are so good we keep coming back. Unfortunately there are some problems that don't get resolved and some of those features have disappeared.

  1. We come here in large part for the pool and sauna, but they've been out of order every single time (albeit for only a short while the first time). If an amenity that significant is going to be unavailable guests should be made aware and discounted. The spa was meant to be fixed by now and it isn't

  2. the televisions are unusable. The remote controls barely register and the streaming services are always logged into other people's accounts. I told the staff about this and was told they would reset the TVs to auto log everyone out when we left, and yet the next day a stranger had somehow gotten my Netflix password and was using it. I've tried to use the streaming services with no success and the staff simply say they don't know how the TVs work. I'm streaming from my laptop while looking at a huge black rectangle in front of me because no one seems able to resolve it.

  3. The food wasn't good, which is unusual. I always get a nice fish and chips for room service and for the first time, tonight it was extremely overcooked and the batter had a bitter aftertaste. The only problem we had with the food prior was the "Sunday pork roast" - this is the only dinner available on Sunday besides fish and chips and of course isn't feasible for Muslims, Jews, veg*ns etc. I'm guessing it's to the taste of whoever chooses the menu but it's a shame to only have one choice and forego the regular menu for it.

I don't want to quibble about small things, like the phone still not working two months after we let the staff know it was out of commission, but the above seriously undermined our enjoyment. We really hope these issues are fixed because otherwise it's a lovely...

This hotel single-handedly ruined our family's first road trip with our little bub. Upon arrival, all is well. Until we went to the room and found out the AC is not working in the middle of summer. 31 degree at the time. Rooms were fully booked due to Australia Day holiday, so we couldn't change rooms. It was a Saturday, so no tech either to come and fix.

What bothers me most, the Director was only offering me FREE BREAKFAST during our first discussion. (worth $20 p/p with nothing much to offer.) I am truly disappointed with their response and the overall quality of the $220 room. They suggested we opened the window and stayed for the night. We opened the window for 30 mins to test, but it was so loud and noisy outside, we couldn't get any rest. I can't imagine putting myself through this and paying $220 for it. It was simply not worth it.

There's nothing else they could offer but some pedestal fans. Hopeless.

I asked for a full refund, which was refused as they were "unable" to retrieve the funds from Agoda. I proceeded to contact Agoda for a full refund, which then Agoda had to ask the hotel. I guess if you want something done in your favour, you have to do it yourself.

I drove over 450km on the road today from Perth and back only to be disheartened. The director is a bit of a joke. "Free breakfast" does not solve anything lady. At least compensate that you've wasted 12 hours of my time with at least some petrol money.

I am beyond disappointed with them. I am disgusted at how they deal with this....
