Cafe Royal — Restaurant in Western Australia

Verbally threatened by both clientele and staff for calling the police when a fight broke out next to us, because the staff didn't. Please be aware of your safety if you choose to visit. More below:

On the 21st of December 3 of my friends and I decided to go to Cafe Royale for some food and drinks. We gave our order to a wonderfully friendly waitress but, while we waited, a fight broke outside and then moved inside. I feared for the safety of myself and my friends so I went to call the police when a woman who worked there approached me (after talking to one of the men who was involved in the fight) and asked if I was calling the police. I said I was, and she said: "You shouldn't have done that mate. That's the worse thing you could have done." The man then asked if I was calling the police, and then turned around and began to threaten me and verbally abuse me. The waitress told me that it was a family dispute and none of my business.

I really wouldn't recommend going to a venue that doesn't manage violent occurances like...

Went to Cafe Royal Today, got some lovely service from the 2 ladies on, only to come home to Mouldy Apple pie and a very disappointing phone call to one of the staff. Her excuse being "iv sold plenty of this today and no one's complained". She was no help in trying to resolve my problem and not apologetic in the slightest. (I wanted to call and give them a chance to do the right thing with a good attitude before I posted here, but obviously that didnt go well)

Just beware next time you eat here, please check your food! Most people wouldn't have even noticed while eating it as it was all on the bottom of the pie. A food violation should be taken seriously and it wasn't.

UPDATE: recieved a call from the manager who took it seriously and was very apologetic, GREAT service...

I popped into this little cafe for a quick breakfast. Coffee was good, decor is great. However they let me down on the rude service and food. The lady at the counter who served me was rude, blunt and spoke to me like she was a robot repeating the same thing to everyone else. No personal touch, asking how my day is or even a smile. I told her what I wanted and she wasn't listening so she had to ask again. She was lovely to all the locals but not to my new face. The food was two poached eggs and just normal bread which I could have bought at the supermarket and made myself. I feel as though I wasted my time and money as the food was nothing special and the service was terrible. Won't...
