Chicken Treat Waikiki — Restaurant in Western Australia

Now I've always liked Chicken Treat, a good one stop shop for a bit of a last minute hunger buster. If I'm being completely honest I never really differentiated it between Red Rooster until I was reeled in and introduced to the by delicious cheeseburgers you can order up and inhale within a 4 min 19 second turnaround, for only two bucks might I add.

Anyway, regardless of how my chicken treat journey started and much as I've always liked it, I've never loved it ya'know... until today!

Ladies and gentlemen and everything in between, today's meal has dropped it back a gear, switched lane's and overtook it's competitors on the path and journey of Steve's tantalising tastebud food fueled reviews.

I was craving some classic ole Dirty Bird (aka KFC) for lunch but uber eats didn't get on-board with my supply and demand situation of nourishment. Being hungry and stubborn, or stubborn because I'm hungry, I reluctantly decided to roll with Chicken Treats fried chicken. Last time I tried their fried chicken country rage I though I was better to slam a couple shots of fryer greese and eat a boiled chicken thigh, than to order any fried chicken from them again. Not sure what "country style" that was, but it sure wasn't any that I've been to. What got my interest today was the absence of any form of "country range" which seems to be replaced by its more slender younger sibling of fine marketing "Crunchified" range.

As I eagerly peeled open the box I was greeted with some perfectly salted chips, I considered chips the foreplay of any meal, it's important, people. You can't go straight for the kill, you need to warm up to the main course, and that's exactly what these chips did. After a little indulgence I felt an overwhelming sense of joy as I uncovered this perfectly looking drumstick leg that was so golden and sacred I now know what Indiana Jones feels like discovering his treasures.

Look, all I can say is...KFC, I'm sorry...it's not you, it's me.

As for CT (I give all the things i love cute nicknames) thanks for today, I really enjoyed myself.

total disappointment with the service I received at the Wiki drive-through on December 20, 2023, at approximately 12:00 PM. I have always appreciated the quality of your food and prompt service from other outlets. However, my recent experience fell far short of my usual expectations. Upon placing my order, I encountered several issues that caused significant inconvenience and frustration. The employee taking my order seemed distracted and took several long pauses before finally confirming my choices which where incorrect . Despite clearly repeating my order multiple times. later I discovered several errors when I reached the window. These errors included incorrect quantities and incorrect drinks. I brought these errors to the attention of the window staff, who apologized for the mistakes and corrected the order again. I thanked them and said not to worry however, upon arriving home, I discovered that instead of 3 large chips I was given 2 small. Frustrated by the repeated errors and lack of accuracy, I immediately contacted Chicken Treat via there web site and received a reply on December 21, 2023, at 3:00 PM, they offered a resolution. Unfortunately, I have not received any response to my email despite waiting and recontacting them using the case file number. The long delays, order errors, and lack of response to my complaint have been extremely disappointing. The full experience has been a waste of time money and an inconvenience caused poor service and the lack of follow-up action. 1 star would...

Wednesday 29th may 7.12 pm First time at this shop in waikiki Ordered boneless box reg $16.89 Burger + fri's +potatoe gravy +2 boneless bits + can of pepsi Asked if i can change drink to a coffee no probs $18.89 Went to window she proceeded to give me a ice coffee box i said no thought it was a hot one.
