Turbo Sushi Waikiki — Restaurant in Western Australia

We started going here maybe a couple of months after they opened. Along with other reviews I would agree the quality has dropped significantly. Eaten at least 20 meals from here. Today was terrible... Katsu bento box, the salad was just lettuce with 2 shreds or carrot (not very japanese). Chicken was soggy, literally no crunch. Rice looks to be soggy jasmine rice, no seasoning. They didnt even use Kewpie mayo!! A maccas chicken burger is probably about as japanese as the food served here. Part way through writing this my wife asked me to smell her food from there and I gagged, immediatly drove back and asked the staff if they thought it safe to eat (smelt like rotten chicken). They thought it was fine! A refund was given but I would strongly advise against purchasing food from here. If I was to say something to the owners it would be that we want good quality food, the prices here are still rather cheap. Maybe the reason the food quality is so low? People are happy to pay a bit more for good food. People are never happy if they have to bring the food back...

Ordered 2 salmon sashimi type sushi tonight, at 7.80 for 4 pieces, I opened it to find that the salmon didn’t smell fresh, it still had fat and skin on, the brown parts of the salmon still on. After cutting it all off myself, and having a pile of fat and skin on my container, my hands smelt fishy, it had put me off eating it, usually sushi chefs take great pride in their presentation, when I showed the lady at the counter the big pile of fat and what was left in my container, she said oh sorry about that yet did nothing. sushi is average at best and has alot of stingy charges like 1.50 for literally 10cents worth of Mayo. I ordered once and it warm at my door. Keep in mind I'm less that 8 mins down the road and it ain't hot out here. Poor fridge conditions probably unsanitary. I gave them a second chance and went in, only to discover that the sushi looked like it had been beaten with a rock. 2 bad experiences definetly wouldn't recommend.
