Had a booking for 6.30 pm for 3, there were only 3 other people in having dinner but lots of Uber eats and other takeaways. I expected that rice would come with the main but it doesn't and has to be paid for, to be fair they offer a variety of different types of rice, but then I thought that just standard white rice should be included with main. The saffron rice was superb. The vegetarian platter was great and generous, but it would have been great if it had come with a dipping sauce of some kind, but I believe this has to be purchased separately too. The garlic cheese naan was so delicious and again they are very generous. They did serve free poppadoms and two little dipping sauces when we sat down. We asked for medium spice for our curries and although they were really nice the over all flavour was lacking and I would say the spice was very mild not medium. Our son who gets takeaway from there all the time & being Vegan, the same dishes all the time, said that his was lacking in flavour compared to what he has had in the past. The music went off and did not get put on again while we were still eating. With only the 3 of us being there it was then really quiet for awhile and we couldn't help but feel like they were wanting us to leave when we had not even really quite finished our food, we had only just put our utensils down and we were asked if we wanted take away containers. I believe it is suppose to be open till 9.30 pm and this was before 8 pm. Over all, really nice, very generous amounts and service was excellent, so I suppose the generous amounts would compensate for having to buy the extras that you would expect to come with your mains. I would go again to give it...
Read moreWe ordered the Banquet for 2 people and, goodness, were we surprised! The food served up was plentiful and delicious. There was far more than 2 people could eat (at meal’s end we were offered takeaway containers to carry the food home :) ). Each of the curries had its own distinctive sauce with its own particular spice mix - outstanding quality food. We had a chicken jalfrezi dish, a lamb kadhai, and an exceptionally tasty egg curry. The saffron rice was light and subtle, and the garlic naan had a real zing! This was all on top of a first class entree of tandoori chicken, lamb kofta and vegetable samosa. The galub jamuns and mango kulfi were delicious. The entire banquet was served up with friendliness, good grace and attentiveness by the two Deki’s, wonderful wait-staff who made us feel very welcome. I really hope this restaurant builds the clientele it deserves. It’s a...

4 tables of 6 made it easy to have a conversation with everybody on the table without having to resort to shouting over each other.
Friendly young wait staff were efficient and polite and methodical, writing each dishes order with the persons initials so there was no stuffed up orders.
Great portions, and nicely presented, I was hungry so forget to take a picture of my Lamb Rogan Josh, Lemon Rice and Paratha.
And most of the party had left when I remembered to take a group photo.
Definately going to book this place again as everyone enjoyed their food and...
