I love this place, I absolutely crave it! The veggie curries are phenomenal, the best I’ve had in Perth. My favourites are the Dahl, Veggie Korma, Veggie Sambar, the sweet HOT Eggplant curry +the Potato Bhaji. Get the Garlic Naan as they’ll cook that while you wait +it comes out so fluffy fresh +piping hot! I’ve introduced many people to this place that agree, best lowkey Indian restaurant around. The meat curries are great too, nice Tandoori Chicken quarters too, but I rarely get them as the veggie ones have such unbelievable flavour I never want to miss out on any one of them (I mostly get the same ones every time). Just FYI the curries are well salted, but I love salty things +when you have them with the rice as it’s intended, it is perfectly balanced. The Coconut Barfi slice for dessert is nice too. The price is reasonable, I spent $87 which sounds like a lot but I got enough curry +rice for TEN meals for the two of us (I freeze them +they reheat nicely) plus some Samoas +Naan for the first night. This time they threw in two 0% beers for free. Every couple times I go they will do small kind acts like two for the price of one Naan or I’ll buy two Samoas +they’ll throw a third in for free, that kinda thing. I’ve been going to this place for yeeeears, at least 13yrs, if you see my other reviews I do not stand for bad service, but the owner is always cheerful +the staff are always lovely to me, but I am always lovely to them too. I think the bad service reviews come about as the staff tend to reflect the customer, if a customer is flat they are flat +direct back, but I haven’t ever seen rude before, they are only ever lovely +friendly +kind to me! I highly recommend!

Ok food but bad service. The lady who servers you never smiles and does not make you feel welcome. ( this is mentioned in numerous other reviews) The chairs are of very poor quality and are very wobbly. I could see that some of the chairs have had a very dodgy fix which indicates that the management already knew that the chairs were a safety issue. Yesterday I had a meal here and the chair I was sitting on the leg snapped off and I feel on the floor and the pane of glass on the table nearly slid off the table onto me. ( I am of slim build and not overweight) As a result I injured my upper arm and shoulder which is making it difficult to do my job as I can not lift anything at the moment. The staff showed very little compassion for my welfare and I was not offered a complementary meal or even an apology. Also the wall behind the counter has white marks where the paint is missing because the staff have been hitting the rice serving spoon on the wall to remove rice from the spoon. The front door near the handle has a filthy brown mark that has been there for over a year which would indicate that no Covid deep cleans have been conducted. I am sure the Health Department would be very interested to know this. I have attached photos to show that the door is filthy and extremely unhygienic. I will be recommending to all my friends to avoid this OHS nightmare.

This is my second time back, wasn’t sure if I reviewed this place when I came the first time. Overall the food was great. Sorry about the pictures, the food was too good, so we started eating before snapping a shot. We took a picture in the middle of eating. You could choose the $10.50 lunch special combo for one meat and two veg or $12.50 lunch combo for two meat and two veg. Both options give you a choice of rice, pratha or naan. Their Dhal was absolutely fantastic which I thought they could have given more. The rest of the food was well portioned. The spice was so good. The food was fresh. The only comment I would give would be, a friendlier service would be ideal and if you openly asked a customer if he/she wanted tea and not asked other customers, it would give a wrong impression about the level of service and professionalism especially so if the customer you asked happen to be Indian and we were not, so... granted with the benefit of the doubt that the customer might be a family friend or someone you know very well. So perhaps do it discreetly. I will definitely come back again.
