Darch Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Western Australia

Perfectly battered fish and chips, light and crispy, good flavoured fish. $14 standard fish & chips (or $12.50 basa & chips). My husband and I did prefer the basa fish over the traditional as it tasted softer and better texture. Although the chips were freshly fried, the seasoning and crunchiness wasn’t a match for the other fish & chips place we’ve visited recently in the neighbouring suburb. Portion size was quite generous, plenty of chips. It seemed like a family run business and everyone including the children are all very friendly. The only downside was the after taste greasiness in the mouth that lingered for a while which we didn’t experience from the other place we visited… it is fried food after all… Excellent fish & chips...

We got the seafood basket, chips were perfectly crispy, fish was juicy and the batter was crispy which made the best combination of fried fish! Seafood sticks were done perfectly (but I guess you can't really stuff those up!) but that squid.... I am very picky on squid. I don't usually order squid anymore due to it being overcooked everytime. But you guys have NAILED it! perfectly cooked, just the right amount of batter

The staff were really friendly and approachable, shop was very clean and tidy, it took about 10 minutes for the food to be made. A great example of how a shop should be run!

I am really looking forward to coming back and consuming so much more...

Absolutely abysmal experience. Phone ordered, went in and paid, and sat there, sat there, sat there...... Other people came in and received their orders, we still sat. Finally we asked what was going on, after a blank look we are told our order is the one that had been sitting on the bench for 10 mins. We were told "Whoops, sorry about that". Meal was cold when opened at home. We had to microwave it. When we rung we were told "oh, so you can still eat it"? Will never go...
