Darch Pizza House has honestly become one of my favourite local spots for pizza. I’ve ordered from here multiple times now, and they’ve been consistent every single time—hot, fresh, and packed with flavour.

Their pizzas are super generous with toppings. You don’t get that “mostly crust” feeling like some other places. The meat-loaded pizzas are absolutely loaded (like properly full-on), and the veggie ones still have heaps of flavour. The olives, capsicum, mushrooms—all taste fresh, not like they’ve been sitting around. And the cheese… they don’t hold back. Every slice pulls just right and has that satisfying stretch. Crust is that perfect middle ground—crispy on the outside but soft inside.

The portion sizes are massive, especially the family pizzas. Honestly, for the price, you’re getting great value. Some of the big chains charge more for way less toppings and flavour. Here, it feels like you’re actually getting your money’s worth.

The staff are friendly and quick too. I usually order for pick-up and it’s always ready on time. Once I had a small mix-up with toppings and they fixed it straight away, no dramas. That kind of service makes a big difference.

The shop is always clean, and you can tell they take pride in what they’re doing. Even the pizza box presentation looks decent—it’s not just slapped together.

I had previously given this restaurant a good review, but at this moment their service is terrible. One incident happened that I could even report to the police. I haven’t decided yet whether to file a report or not, but every customer needs to know about this.

I came from New Zealand a year ago and will be going back this month. A few days ago, I went to the restaurant to pick up my food. At that time, a white girl was working at the front. My 6-year-old boy was walking around the corner of the restaurant, and she told him that he needs to be ‘professional’ as a customer. I was shocked to hear this, but the most important part is that my boy has been mentally traumatized after this incident.

I will not complain to the police if they remove this girl from her job. She is violent. The staff also don’t wear name plates on their shirts, so I don’t know her name. But I am watching carefully to see what step the restaurant takes, and I will act...

Always get a receipt and compare it with how much your account was debited. I’ve been overcharged, Last time $29.90 special and I was charged $30 something. One occasion, it was nearly 2 dollars extra. It happens too often to be accidental.

It is such a shame because it is otherwise a fantastic pizza shop.

Edit, I have ascertained what happened months later. This business engages in charging the MERCHANT fee to the customer as a surcharge and at the time did so without informing customers. Considering this is the most common payment method, I don’t understand why it is done. If it was declared, I would’ve paid cash then the business, could wear the risk and expense associated with cash. Hitting people with extra charges is a sure way to send your customers somewhere else.
