The owner is a decent bloke though I'll give them that
But something off about that pub no bouncers There seems a bit dangerous to not have bouncers There on weekends ?
Food I give 3 star I mean it's a bar you get what you pay for it's not a five star resort restaurant but in general any restaurant just don't order the garlic prawns because you will be disappointed at the portion size I mean you order seafood in a 2 and a half star tavern and generally you expect to get lots of prawns the taste is alright but it's drowned in some type of soup?
Service I give 1.5 because my dad accidentally walked into one of the workers and I had to clear up and apologize on behalf of my dad was a paying customer we were there to do a wedding reception good effort and our tables weren't cleared until I asked them to please come clear the tables it's their job too
Atmosphere didn't feel welcome in There we were respectful people were giving me strange looks when I was going outside to have ciggies with my father in my maid of honour dress....
**CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF RESTAURANT SIDE OF A TAVERN.
Although I was assaulted by a stranger throughout the night myself someone hit me in the back of the head I didn't report it to the owner whom was on the door I was too scared to because of his employee that walked into my dad we had small children with us babies and so fourth with the guests of my sister's wedding
Overall I give a 2 star rating
Aw they have a big metal thing that isn't stable not fitted next to a glass door it's a very dangerous and wobbly it could kill a person it's quite dangerous
Not a kid friendly bar if that metal thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen
You get what get when you go to a tavern most taverns are well known for being quiet generous with the seafood though it's a shame this place isn't the food is not justice enough to make up for the service or...
Read moreLet me tell you about my last dinner. The food was delicious, and the staff were lovely, but the experience was completely overshadowed by one person: AN OLDER WOMAN,maybe the manager. I've been to this restaurant countless times â family birthdays, celebrations, you name it â and I've never encountered anything like this before.
First, the restaurant was busy, which wouldn't have been a problem, except she seated me at the very edge, right by the door, in a section that seemed to be mostly Asian diners. It felt⌠pointed.
Then, when my sister asked for âwater bottleâ, this woman completely mispronounced her request, she Scoff and guffaw âwhat do you say about a bowl of water you drink from a bowlâ even after we tried to correct her â then I asked for tap water, but instead of simply providing it, she chose to make a spectacle of it, deliberately prolonging the interaction and using it as an opportunity to belittle my sister and companions. She seemed to find it amusing,đwhich only made the situation more offensiveâ laughed loudly and made a big show of it. It wasn't a simple misunderstanding; it felt deliberate and condescending.
Finally, when she brought the water, she practically THREW it down. There was no apology, just this aggressive, dismissive attitude. It was humiliating, and I'm convinced it was intentional. Her behavior was unacceptable and frankly, discriminatory.đ¤ĄIt really ruined what should have been a pleasant evening. In the restaurant world, customer service is not just a factor, it is the deciding factor. Get it right and you will succeed. Get it wrong and you are done. And when you are living in a country that is considered multicultural, you should know what is a true blue to be an Australian duty. A country is not racist, THE PEOPLE in the country...
Read moreWe were regulars at this restaurant 1-2 per week for many years because we live in the area, so we parted with thousands of $. Food is reasonable but quite expensive. The chips they served used to be very nice, but they charged the cook. Staff is ok too, used to be better. Few months back went there for lunch on Sunday, got to desert and found a big piece of hair in one of the edible cups. We spoke to the girl who brought us the food and she was quite nice about it, apologized and retuned the whole desert plate to the kitchen and took it up with the manager. (Wasnât the restaurantâs fault but the supplierâs). Offered us something else but we were put off by the experience so she said weâll get a free desert next time as she knew us quite well. It happened that we didnât have lunch there for a few weeks. We decided to go on a Sunday for lunch and my daughter was really looking forward to some desert. After we ordered our food (the previous girl wasnât in that day) my wife mentioned the incident we had with the desert and asked if we can have our desert after the meals. We were served by someone else (who knew us very well too) and she made it sound like we wanted something for free. My wife insisted if she can talk to the manager, she did and came back to tell us that the manager wonât give us any desert and that they know nothing about any incidents regarding the piece of hair and because she didnât serve us that day she doesnât know anything about it. We,at least, expected the manager to come and talk to us. EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING AND AWKWARD! We ended up ordering the desert and paid for it. Interestingly the desert was mainly the same, less the edible cup. We finished our meals and walked out and I will never go back there again after such a...
