Throwback Sunday, haven't been out for breakfast for a while, wanted to go somewhere new. I went on google and checked out this cafe called Doric St cafe in Scarborough. When I got there, it's just a row of shops with different cafe and shops together and also a Chicken Treat! What a surprise. It's a busy cafe on a Sunday morning. If you decide to have a conversation, I would suggest sitting outside as inside is very noisy. We ordered: EGGS BENEDICT- Poached eggs, ham and house-made zingy hollandaise on toasted ciabatta. SMASHED AVOCADO - Creamy feta, cherry tomato and a poached egg The breakfast dishes that we ordered are spot-on; it tasted fresh and delicious; just what we wanted.

A nice local cafe with good coffee and drinks including beetroot and turmeric latte options for the non-coffee drinkers. I also had a Portuguese tart but I think it wasn't fresh as the pastry was a bit soggy when it should be crispy and flakey. The filling was also very sweet. There's indoor seating as well as seating out the front, and parking is also available in the lot in front. Overall, we enjoyed the cafe and service was good.

Was recommended by friends. It's certainly a nice layout and the food presentation is "Instagram worthy" but wasn't that great in flavour. It's quite over priced. When asked if I would return...nope, probably wouldn't. I've tried it once and that was enough.

I like this cafe it's cute and cozy and the workers are very nice, this is more to inform the owners to quality check their products. Me and a friend got coffee with syrups in them, and the caramel syrup tasted so sour and disgusting. I nearly threw up and had to throw out the drink as the syrup was all sludgy and actually chunky. My friends described her vanilla coffee as tasting like soy sauce. She had to throw it out as well, and her syrup was sludgy and chunky. This was really sad cause they were nearly 7...

Left feeling a little disappointed. Our group of three had all come to the same conclusion after our breakfast this morning; menu is way overpriced, coffee was very average, and the wait was a little longer than expected. The use of Smiths Original chips with the burger (with a sprinkle of pepper) was odd, if not a little insulting, especially when it was $20, and the pork belly that came with the ramen was most certainly not pork belly. Otherwise, the staff are nice enough, and the atmosphere is light. Will not...
