A Perfect Sprinkle Celebration at Drift!

Let me start by saying that I cannot recommend Drift highly enough for hosting my recent baby sprinkle! From the very first contact, the entire experience was flawless.

The atmosphere is simply stunning. The elegant and classy setting was the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Manuella and her team took care of all the decor, and the beautiful flower arrangements added such a touch of sophistication.

But the true stars of the show were the mimosa bar and breakfast pastry bar! The variety and quality were outstanding, and there was something to please everyone. The endless flow of delicious food and drinks kept our guests happy and satisfied.

The staff deserve a standing ovation. Their service was seamless and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the event. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, making all our guests feel comfortable and right at home. It felt like they were catering to our every need without us even having to ask!

We've decided to head to Drift Kitchen on a wet Saturday morning. When we got there it was fully booked and the outdoor area is wet so they were unable to sit us. The waitress was very fast, they seated us in the takeaway section on the big table sharing with a few other customers. She was very quick acting instead of turning away potential customers. When we were seated the service is very fast, we ordered the coffee and food. We ordered the Halloumi and sweet potato rosti and French toast. The Halloumi and sweet potato rosti consist of mushrooms, poached egg, marinated tomatoes, green pea puree, truffle oil, porcini powder. I love this dish as everything is very fresh. The French toast came with Caramelised banana, vino cotto mascarpone, fresh strawberries, berry coulis, agave syrup. I love this dish as the french toast is very soft, all my favourite fruits are on it. It's very refreshing and it's not too big that you feel so full after breakfast. The portion is just right. Had a quick but really delicious lunch there today. Their special lamb roll and a rocky ridge beer was amazing value. The lamb roll was in a perfectly toasted brioche long roll with perfectly roasted lamb and slow roasted tomato and so e rocket. The flavour from the tomato was so tangy and delicious - I thought it wa as chutney - but nope it was the lamb roast juices and the tomato flavour. You really have to give this place a go. We sat outside at one of the high benches - the service was really quick and unobtrusive . We also asked for a small salad - wasn’t on the menu but they brought a beautiful bowl of fresh wild rocket and ripe tomato and capsulicum with some frilly baby kale. That was fresh and so good too.
