Has to be the worst food I have had in perth yet alone the prices they charge at the same time . I rarely write food reviews but when its this bad they need to know -pizza so thin they can't put any cheese, ingredients has nothing to stick to, as well it gets made next door which came to us cold -Chilli mussels sauce was ok.. price to portion didn't not make any sense but worst of all, fridge cold garlic bread on top -Burrata was prob the best by the time salt and pepper was use. Lucky it was on the table to add on. -Carbonara pasta "creamy yolk" got me excited for traditional carbonara, came out with just the usual cooking cream style, very under seasoned. -Mushroom truffle pasta, so thick and overdosed in mushrooms which tasted like the truffle mushroom mix from a jar you have few table spoons and your done. More then half left on the two we ordered for $36..... seriously -clam pasta with prob 2 tablespoons worth of whole peppercorn, how do you even eat?? Picking the whole peppercorns out and or biting in one. -steak so over seasoned with even the brocollini we couldn't eat it was that salty -beef ragu "Bollognese" tasted like undercooked tomato sauce with no flavour and or salt They really need to look at the chef if they are sending food like this out. Such a shame because the place is nice.

This is a cozy suburban spot to indulge in some seriously tasty carbs. Some dishes feel lovingly made from scratch, while others seem to take a shortcut. The pasta is a little pricey for what it is, but putting costs aside, when the food’s good, and Bodega do feature themselves on Eat Club, we can just focus on the positives. The pizzas, wood fired next door, are a clever operation - sharing workload and skills between two shops is a smart move. And when it comes to starters, the polpettes steal the show, swimming in a rich, velvety sauce that’s begging for a bit of bread to mop it up (fried pizza dough is a good option). As for the reginette al tartufo, they have a point, it should be famous. Silky ribbons of pasta coated in a truffle-kissed sauce that’s earthy, creamy, and hard to stop twirling. Overall happy enough with Bodega to come back as they tend to have some good wines by the glass to go with all of the above living up to their namesake.

Went to Bodega last minute on a Thursday evening. They managed to fit us in and golly gosh, it didn’t disappoint. The food was so good, from the starters to the pasta. The pasta’s were so delicious, and had a deal on spritz for Thursday too. Staff helped us to make good choices also. Would recommend to anyone

Food was great! ( although would have liked a few more pizza choices!) Really enjoyed ourselves in that department. However the service was a bit off. We booked the table for 6, we were on time, we ordered at 615and by the time we have finished out mains it was 7, no starters were order. We are not slow eaters and we in fact flagged down the waitress to get out food order in, ( mains only).

We we finished our meals we were warned that we can have some dessert but the next table is booked for 715 so we will have to eat quickly. We agreed to desert and then shortly informed that the next table is here and we have to move outside.

It was a warm night, we were fine with this. However, do not provide a 75 minute time slot if you cannot deliver a service to match with this. I found that really annoying. We weren't dragging our feet and yet we're being kicked out to make as much money as possible. What if there were no seat outside, would we be kicked out and had our deserts refunded? It was just so bizarre!

The staff were professional and friendly. I can’t fault that. However, won’t be returning there any time soon to scoff down a meal and get kicked out. Don't have booking for 75 minutes, especially if the service isnt...
