Lovely to see this popular cafe continue under new ownership. We dined in just for coffee and dessert, but what we saw of the meals being served, we will definitely be back for brunch or lunch in the future. The new owners and staff are friendly and efficient, obviously wanting to get off to a good start. Coffee was a good flavour, perhaps could have been a little hotter this time - I'm sure it takes time to get to know a new machine. The tarts we chose were tasty and nicely presented, there's a nice selection of different fruit tarts on custard available. The Portuguese tart unexpectedly contained a centre of jam, and while I know this is an option, it would be good to also provide the option of traditional Portuguese tarts with custard filling only. But it's great to see the Portuguese tarts continue here, as they were an excellent item by the previous owners, and not many places in Perth make good ones. Anyway, we will definitely be back from time to time, and very good wishes to the new...

We did a takeaway Disappoint no 1 We had phoned earlier at 8am as was our custom but when we got there there was no record of them receiving the msg Disappointment no 2 The takeaway cappuccino was flat and tasted bitter Disappointment no 3 The almond croissant lacked something …. There was a smearing of frangipane or was it sugared butter? It was so different Not just in looks to the usual but also in taste and shape to the ones by the previous Korean owners Concession given to the staff rushing about in stiff attention because this was the fifth day since they took over However the coffee and almond croissant tasted different and not answering the phone or checking for message left on voice mail ? So sorry we have to go somewhere else local as George St cafe had been our favourite breakfast morning tea brunch place for...

My regular coffee spot as of late, used to go down to Hoopla but much prefer the coffee here. Good size serving for the price as well.

I would of given 5 stars but the Cinnamon scrolls don't have the traditional cream cheese frosting so I had to deduct a single star. If this cafe decide to add the frosting I will amend my review.

Keep it up guys

Edit: Today I tried something, I can't pronounce it but apparently it's like a vanilla slice. Now I hate vanilla slice, you know the strange slice you find in road stops with icing on top with a strange jelly like substance inside they call "custard". Well today I had George St version of Vanilla Slice, something Napoleon it was called. OMG, delicious, I hve changed my rating now to 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟...

Pretty good over all. Great service. Croissants were pretty average, I wouldn't recommend getting it if you're an enthusiast. Eggs Benedict was pretty good. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and light. Personally I like the sauce to have a bit more lemon/vinegar in it to help offset the saltiness of the ham. I think maybe infusing a bit of dill as well would elevate the meal over all. The bread for it was fantastic. Egg cooked perfectly. Ham was nice and gave a decent amount of it as well. Over all would recommend giving it ago. I think their toasties would be the way to go as the bread I had was really enjoyable and honestly what I will remember of the cafe

I went here as I was driving along, in desperate need of a caffeine fix. I ordered a double shot flat white. As it was being made I got to chatting with the owner/barista. We were talk g about decaf and how it isn’t really given as much value as a normal coffee….all good…as…I got my coffee….within a minute….I left…and…took a mouthful….and I said to him….wow…that’s one of the best coffees I’ve had this year…,I honestly wasn’t sure expecting it to be that good!!! The next day I came back and got a bag of decaf beans eager to try them out once my other decaf is finished. So wonderful!!!! Thanks!!!!!

A great week at work, topped of by this Saturday morning breakfast... The freshest of ingredients, put together so well, cooked to perfection. The coffee ☕️ is fantastic 👌🏻 Highlights for me today were the delicious, bread and the crispy hash browns 😋 I'm already looking forward to next Saturday 🤣🤣🤣
