Happy Chopstix Vietnamese Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

Forever the local chat has recommended Happy Chopstix and I’ve been like yeeeeah ok. I finally went.

Such lovely food! Amazing service! You won’t be disappointed.

The space has options to sit and eat in the restaurant. There is a nice authentic feel as it has traditional music playing while you indulge in your choice of meal!

I like how there is reasonable amount of options food wise opposed to a large menu. Options for vegetarian, meat options and spice levels!

The space is wheelchair friendly and accessible. There is a disabled parking space directly outside.

I highly recommend giving it a go. Full of flavour and hot food which is so good on a cool night! Service is amazing. The atmosphere is so cool.

Highly, highly recommend visiting and eating in or taking away. If you take away a box is supplied to make taking away easy! So lucky to have such a wholesome great food so close to home.

The food was fantastic! Authentic. Fresh. The flavours were so good. We never get fried rice, but thought we’d give it a go to see if it really is like the Vietnamese do it, and it was! The banh xio (pancake) was so good with all the fresh herbs and veg to fill it yourself. The sweet and sour pork is nothing like the deep fried Chinese style that is sickly sweet - it is is so tasty and healthy. The prices are incredibly cheap and the servings huge. My husband is sitting beside me now saying “I think you have to go back to this place, it is the best!” Having lived in Vietnam, I can honestly say this is the best I’ve had out of Vietnam and am so happy we’ve found it. I have been coming to the Happy Chopsticks for the last 3 years to support a local business. It has mostly been good until the last 2 visits. Tonight I had the wok fried rice noodle combination without prawn but fish ball instead. The dish came without prawns or fish ball and the noodles were overcooked. The previous visit the noodles dish was over cooked as well. I spoke to the lady who cooked the noodles and she said they didn't have any fish balls to put in the dish. She said she put extra meat in the dish which I disputed. I only found 2 small pieces of chicken in the dish . I don't like being disappointed twice so unfortunately I will not longer frequent not so...
