Nice cafe with friendly courteous service. Strong skinny cappuccino. Brekky burger - very satisfying bite to it with the bread toasted just right. Highly recommended. Eggs hollandaise, Florentine style with mushrooms - egg yolk flowy and mushrooms seasoned nicely. Hollandaise sauce is smooth but needs a little elevation in taste, which was helped a little by egg yolk. I guess it would have been better balanced if we had ordered the smoked salmon instead of the mushroom. Bread would retain crunch better if they hold back the sauce a tad. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again.

We haven't been to Bunbury for maybe 15 years now. Always bypass it on the way south. This time way stayed to attend a 110year Girl Guides anniversary and the hunt for good breakfast was on. After few fails, this place popped up as our final option. We ordered Eggs Benedict ( undisputed king of breakfast) and some drinks. The service was nice and cheerful, drinks were lovely, especially the fresh made iced tea. The eggs were done just to my liking, not too runny and not too hard just righ. If you're looking for nice tasty breakfast in Bunbury, look no further this place is for you. 👍😁

Came this morning for breakfast, a few people but not overly packed, so getting a seat was quick, The food also came out in a good time. The staff were super friendly and checked on us mid meal to ensure everything was all good, which was nice, We found the kids' pancakes were a bit rubbery, but the kid didn't complain, Tripple stacked daily pancakes I found were quite nice, only thought from the wife was the bacon could have been full peice and not cut strips, We complimented our food with a frappee, which was ok just a bit to chunky on the ice Over all we found it quiet good

Hear me, O diners, and lend thine ears, For I sing not of kings, nor of battles fierce, But of eggs and bacon, noble and true, That didst conquer my hunger and spirit too.

First came the coffee, dark as midnight seas, Foam crowned its head like Olympus’ breeze. One sip—aye, nectar of caffeinated gods— My soul awoke, applauding the odds.

Then lo! The Big Breakfast arrived in might, A platter so grand it eclipsed my sight. Bacon crackled like thunder on high, Eggs gleamed brighter than Apollo’s sky.

Sausages marched, a phalanx of spice, Mushrooms and tomatoes—loyal, precise. Toast, golden shields of crunchy delight, Bore butter’s banner into the fight.

The staff, like muses, served with grace, In this humble café, a sacred space. And I, the critic, humbled, confessed: “Surely this is Olympus’ feast at its best.”

So write it in scrolls, inscribe it in stone: This breakfast, dear friends, has claimed the throne. Five stars I grant, with trumpet and cheer, For the greatest of meals I’ve eaten this year.

Michael (My Daughter helped me with this) Johnson

(For the record, it’s...

Nothing special. The daggy signage and decor didn’t fill me with hope, and my fears were confirmed when my meal was served.

I ordered “The Vegan”, and was disappointed to receive plain toast with unseasoned avocado and veggies (literally spinach taken straight from the packet and dumped onto the plate). The baked beans needed salt, and their version of a hash brown is just a potato cooked in a fry pan. My partner’s food was similarly unimpressive, and both of the smoothies we ordered were bland and flavourless. If you are going to bother offering a vegan version of a breakfast fry up on your menu, at least go to the trouble of buying some nuttelex to spread on the toast. Why would I pay to eat out, when I could make a much nicer breakfast at home?

There are much better places for brunch nearby, with similar prices. I would recommend Benesse or...
