Traveling from Singapore and happened to find this Chinese restaurant in Bunbury. I can tell you that this is probably one of the best Chinese food we’ve ever had in Western Australia! All the dishes we ordered were amazing and authentic! They were as good as we had in Singapore, which is quite amazing! You must come and try their cuisine if you also enjoy Chinese food! They open until 10 so it probably saves your life when you are traveling to Bunbury in a late evening and realise most restaurants are already closed!

My family and I recently dined at Bunbury Chinese Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. Their honey chicken is absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delectable sweet and savory sauce. The service was exceptionally friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Additionally, the food came out very quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great Chinese meal in Bunbury.

We came to this place in the late evening and we were surprised that they were still open! Even better, we found that their cuisine is actually very authentic and delicious - probably one of the best Chinese food we’d ever had in Western Australia! And the owner was super friendly and helpful! We would definitely come back and try other dishes! Love this place!

We were very hungry and ordered banquet(6people)... banquet packaged got soup, entree, main course and ice cream.. i understand and we were also told if u ordered banquet you can get 2nd helping if the first serving isnt enough, they only gave us one plate of rice and 5 other dishes in total in the main course.. when we asked for another helping, old lady in that toxic kitchen murmured and you can hear her yelling at the lady who serves us that they wont give us anymore as they reckon they already gave us more than enough on that first and only serving.. imagine 1 plate of rice for 6 hungry asian people! We only asked for rice and they said no, thats it... soup came 40 mins after we ordered, entree another 20 mins of waiting then finally the main dishes in 15 mins... more than an hour of waiting for the food to be served, what made me upset more is that they served other couple of tables first, who came later than us and almost done eating with their food.. when its time for payment, the menu it says $45pp, but wait there is more.. there is a hidden charge of another $27 as they are saying its a sunday or public holiday, thats fine if u are aware of it before hand, gave u the proper menu list, and not after being disappointed with that bad experience... food and service isnt that great compared to award winning china city restaurant who happened to be closed that time for some reason, otherwise we wont be eating in this place... im giving you 2 stars but to be honest it is supposed to be a 1 star for that bad...

We stumbled upon Bunbury Chinese Restaurant one late evening and were pleasantly surprised to find it still open. The food turned out to be a delightful surprise – some of the best Chinese cuisine we've had in Western Australia. The owner was super friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was authentic and delicious. Plus, the fact that they stay open until 9 PM was a lifesaver during our late-night Bunbury visit when most places had already closed. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe, the staff are friendly, parking is convenient, and prices are reasonable. The young girl who served us, had a welcoming and warm demeanour that added to the pleasant atmosphere of our dining experience. During a family birthday dinner, we found the portions to be generous and the flavours tasty. They even let us take home the leftovers, which was a nice touch. All in all, we'd definitely recommend giving Bunbury Chinese Restaurant a try if you're a fan of Chinese food. It left a positive impression on us, and we're looking forward to going...

Went for dinner this evening, after being told by website that it is strictly no BYO to arrive to be informed it is BYO only! OK, I understand that websites are incorrect but that's ridiculous! Followed by the $118 for 4 dishes and then read they have a Sunday surcharge! Hubby ordered peppered steak, that was absolutely covered in seaweed(not mentioned on description!) Honey King prawns, combination chow mein and Gua Bao which was swimming in sauce! Sat freezing under aircon at 8pm with no one else in dining room! Should have cancelled booking when I was rang and asked to change time and was informed they will be shutting at 9pm so basically eat up and leave! Thank you for cementing that we will not be returning! Also just word of advice, to have staff walking around FOH yawning from either tiredness or boredom...
