Thank you for reaching out, as I am as confused as you.
I'm unsure what your message is implying here, however I shall elaborate further.
You would have been correct to say the pizza would have been hot if it came straight out the oven, however, the pizza base was cold and the rocket was wilted, which indicates to me that the pizza was hot and was left out for some time inside the box, as I indicated in my original message. As soon as I received the pizza, the box did not feel warm and it was confirmed cold when I got to my car (just in front of your store). Based on the reviews you have had, seems this is a common theme with your restaurant, as you are quick to blame Uber and other delivery companies and see no fault of your own.
Further to your message, with the comments about cold ingredients, which makes no sense... If you are going to serve a cold pizza for $32 then advertise it on your menu to save any confusion.
I will not be emailing your management, you can keep any gift card or refund as I will not be coming back based on your comments.

Original (30/09) I was quite disappointed with this place, I ordered a takeaway online to pick-up myself, I arrived to collect my order. Online, it said it was ready to collect, so asked at the counter and they said it will be ready in a minute... I waited 15-20 minutes later, and they gave me my pizza, which was ok. However, the pizza was cold when I got into my car, which honestly was very annoying considering I was there to collect it and was waiting there that long. I also noticed that they don't keep the pizzas warm for people to collect, they leave them on a rack to go cold, which is strange as the atmosphere is more suitable for takeaway only. The place wasn't even busy only two tables, which I felt frustrated as they clearly forgot about my order and considering you are paying $32 a pizza is not great. The pizza was nice but would have been better fresh, and I feel is not worth the money. I'm very unhappy with this experience, I don't think I will return to this place based on...

My children were extremely disappointed in cold pizza with a stingy amount of toppings. Online ordering system was dreadful, counter service was poor and the pizza was so flabby - base undercooked and edges burned.
There was no option when ordering online to add or remove ingredients. We ended up with chili we didn't expect which ruined one pizza.
Service was poor - it wasn't ready at the specified time (which was already a 50 minute delay from when the order was placed.) I wasn't given the option of being notified when the order was ready. I saw several other parties getting poor service in front of me. People had to mill about and wait with no updates, and other patrons seemed cranky.
After the long wait, the food itsself was entirely disappointing. We ordered three large pizzas. All of them were undercooked on the base, and burned around the edges. Yes, I know it is woodfired but these weren't cooked properly at all. Flabby, unable to lift a slice of pizza without the minimal toppings sliding off. One pizza had tiny amount of tinned pineapple, it was also super stingy on ham. Definitely not what I would expect for triple the price of a chain pizza. Poor value, poor quality, poor service.
At the end we felt ripped off, I have now given it 6 days and I am still cranky enough to write a poor review.
Edited to add: my mistake, we could add toppings but not remove any using the online interface.
I most certainly wasn't paid to write this review. Instead I paid over $90 at this shop to get a way below average meal and an unhinged response to my review...
Read moreBroke my own rule here by not checking reviews before going in. First, upon seeing the menu pricing- a little on the high side but well, I am a regular customer of Uptown Pizza in Joondalup and the price is similar to Uptown's incredible pizzas so o.k. we will give them a go.
My wife ordered the Funggy Ham and my son ordered the folded Hot Box or some similar name.
Bizarrely, the Funggy Ham arrived without the Mozzarella or Parmesan cheese! Ham, basil and sauce only! At what point did someone preparing this say to themselves "this doesn't look right"-no, apparently not! We complained, a replacement was rushed through for us but by this time I was angry and lost most of my appetite.....
This is not rocket science, you had one job....
"Best in the West" did not come close to passing the test!
And, all delivery pizzas from here will arrive cold. We watched numerous third party delivery drivers arrive with a useless Spud Shed or Coles/Woolies grocery bag, collect pizza orders that never stood a chance to fit in the bag and place them in their cars.
