We recently hosted party at Indian twist Kenwick. If you are thinking of booking this restaurant for a reception please read carefully before you waste your money. Restaurant owner will ask you to pay all the amount upfront, please don’t because he doesn’t care much after you make the payment. Restaurant projector and sound system keep crashing and owner/manager didn’t even bother coming out to check it. I requested staff more than 10 times to call him out but he was busy making money with uber orders. He didn’t care. Upon booking, owner will show you how lights change colour and all that, it doesn’t work as you aren’t given remote to access it. We had to call staff to change it as photographer said it’s ruining photos.Worse than that is amount of food they put out. We paid him for 80 people but there was not even enough food for 40. Guests were asking staff to refill but no one cared. 10 people standing in queue for naan bread and staff only brings 2 pieces of breads out after multiple requests. Upon signing contact it says no takeaways or delivery from front door but there were random people coming into venue to collect food. Food timing were until 10 but after 9pm there were empty containers without any curry or bread in there and staff would even return after you ask them to refill and said they closed kitchen already. Guests keep returning to tell you all this but you would be too busy to keep checking. Also normally other restaurants provide food in some takeaway containers for the family to eat later as you too busy hosting, but this restaurant doesn’t. Only venue is good. Everything else horrible, specially service and the attitude of the owner. Not even an apology after ruining the party. I have asked every guest to share there experience on google.can’t comment on food as we didn’t even taste it and ordered pizzas for around 20 plus people and eat outside the restaurant. Think before wasting your money if looking to book this restaurant for wedding reception or big birthday party. We have hosted parties at fusion6 and street festival. Much better management than Indian twist. Don’t just look at the venue and book it.

Replying to your fake lies in your arrogant response You know in your heart who is lying here! Have some shame. We clearly told you that please provide us the video clip where any of our guests broke anything, we are happy to pay. You offered us apology, free dinner and all that and begged us to remove this review and we simply said no. If you read my review again i never said we needed food after 10pm . I said at 9pm you stopped topping up anything and staff said they closed the kitchen. Over the phone you blamed your staff for everything and said they never told you about video and sound system crashing. You clearly blammed the girls for not doing their job and being lazy and the other guy for being late. Instead I praised his saying he did everything to help us but it was you job to come out. We have never asked you for any refund, (i have proofs) don’t drag it that far that you regret later. have some shame making up all these fake stories just like your all 5 star fake reviews. We can’t go to your low level. Funny to see how you replied to other people as well thinking that they are the guest from our party. Please STOP harassing us for our opinion. We have the right to post as you ruined it. You run a business and learn to hear accept your mistakes and work on it to improve instead of taking it personal and attacking like this. So, yesterday, Friday 27th October, I ordered food at 5.30pm, for a total of $31.76, including $5 delivery. I called the restaurant after payment to edit my contact number and ask of estimated delivery time. The restaurant worker who answered my phone call told me "delivery by 7.11pm". I told her that was a bit late, she assures they will deliver "before that time".

At 7.15pm (that's almost two hours later), the food had not arrived. I called them to ask where the food was and what time it would arrive, the same lady says "the driver has left and is arriving soon." I asked her the exact time but she kept repeating "soon". I asked again "soon but what time?" and she refused to answer and hang the phone in my face. Still, at 7.30pm, the food did not arrive.

At 7.50pm, I called the restaurant and told them that I want to cancel the order because it was way too late and the food never arrived. The lady refused to cancel my order. I asked to speak with the manager who also refused to cancel the order and told me the food will arrived "in ten minutes". The manager also went to tell me how one of their drivers "did not turn up to work". I complained about the previous worker refusing to give me a time and told me "soon" when I called 40 minutes ago. I insisted that at this point I did not want to wait longer and I wanted a refund. The manager still refused for a refund. I asked him "what remedy will you provide me because waiting for 2.5hours for food delivery from a restaurant that is only 15 minutes from my place is unnaceptable. The manager then replied "I will give you a free curry on your next order". I told him that I will not order again at the restaurant after such treatment, that I just want my refund. He then had the audacity to tell me "you will come back" and went on telling me how good their food is and that I will see for myself when I taste it. At this point, I knew that I did not want to eat their food. He said again that the food would arrive within 10 minutes.

The food arrived at 8.15pm. That was 2hours45minutes after I made the order. It was a horrible experience and I could not even consume the food as my child was already in bed, I had to find an alternative dinner for him. The food arrived cold as well. 2hours and 45 minutes, that's almost 3 hours. It's unnacceptable. The lack of professionalism in the discussion and the pretentious compliments of their own food to an unhappy customer who has been waiting for 2.5hours was one of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. The owner, manager and workers need to understand that their industry is not about the taste of food; it's about the service, first and foremost! Do not list yourself as a home delivery option if you cannot honour your contract with paid customers.

We don't order Indian much, if ever as I'm quite picky on meat. I can only stomach chicken breast, and we've struggled to find a local Indian restaurant that states which cut of chicken they use. The other night myself and my partner were craving butter chicken, so I jumped online to see if any restaurant stated which cut they use, Indian twist was the only restaurant to do so & thankfully it's chicken breast.

The wait time was a little long, however once ready uber delivered in a reasonable amount of time, I wouldn't say the food arrived steaming hot, but it was still warm enough.

As soon as we started dinner we were so glad we chose to order. The butter chicken was incredible, not a great deal of chicken vs sauce but still an okay amount. The taste made up for it. We will hopefully be regularly ordering! The cheesy naan was such a perfect add on to the dish. The only downside is the photo accompanied description didn't mention quantity, so we shared less than we expected, still delicious though!

We ordered the meat curry puffs also, they arrived a bit too crispy and overcooked. The pastry seemed like it would have been tasty& was seasoned nicely & the filling was nice, how ever a few spots were so hard from over cooking that I felt my braces brackets would have broken straight off of my teeth if i continued to eat it. Im unsure if they are always cooked this much but I'm not sure if we'd order these again to find out.
