bro who hired these kids??? first time coming there was awful, usually i’m really patient but we waited for about an hour, don’t even know why we stayed there instead of going someplace else.. while sitting there, one couple had enough and cancelled their order, and one woman came in to pick up her order of a huge bucket of chicken for a party that she had organised the day/night before (they hadn’t even started preparing it). they told her they had no chicken left 🤣 the manager let one of his mates into the kitchen/behind the counter (his friend didn’t work there, or at least wasn’t in a uniform) and they had a good old chat while the other workers sat on their phones, hiding from the line of customers ready to order. once we had received our food, they gave one free bread roll to say sorry for the long wait. the food was pretty mid, it wasn’t gross or anything but altogether dry and cold from sitting around too long. my family knew we wouldn’t be going there again
although we haven’t gone there again, we were staying with family around this area and they offered to get us kfc. we said yes and they went to order while the rest of us quickly stopped at a supermarket nearby. we honestly completely forgot that the closest kfc was this one, but if i was reminded before they drove off, i would have told them to not waste their money and go somewhere else. When we had got back from the shops, we came home and noticed our family’s car wasn’t back yet, so we assumed that we had got home before them. but, when we walked into the kitchen, there were three boxes/packs of large chips even though the majority of the family had asked for burgers/chicken to go with the chips. moments later, the part of the family sent to go get dinner arrived with the rest of our food. when we asked about what had happened, they said that they went through the drive through but had to come inside due the food taking so long. as they continued waiting, they told us that they had witnessed employees chucking around chips and laughing around while doing so. they were scared to look away in case they put any of the dirty chips from the floor into a container to be eaten by someone. my family also mentioned that the workers were laying around on their phones as they were when i went there with my close family. at the table, we had a conversation joking about how bad this place was when my sister had the idea to check the reviews. she noticed that the ones from years ago were pretty good but the more recent ones were awful. that’s how i was led to write this super long, karen-like review even though i am a teen. it’s actually crazy how someone hired these people and thought it would be okay for them to run the place, I’m surprised this kfc hasn’t been shut down yet at this point. if you don’t want to lose your job or get the restaurant shut down, i reckon you should stop messing around and do your job, and if you’re not planning on doing that, you probably will never get another job and will be stuck at this place forever (although it will probably get shut down in the next...
Read moreAn absolute horrible experience. Staff members were all very young and I don’t think we’re trained very well. They were throwing chips around and nearly all of them were on break at once. Waited at least 15 minutes to be served, not a smile or any small talk what so ever, we paid and took a seat. The seats were sticky as were the floors and the tables had dust, leftover food and crumbs on them. The place was a pig sty. As we were waiting a couple had just got up and left because the wait was too long. Another person came in, they had ordered a large amount the night before, the one of the workers then say they had no chicken left and that they have not even started on the order… umm?? Did they not think to call and tell her? We went up and asked if there was enough of the type of chicken for our order, we then had to swap out multiple food items from our order. After a whopping hour and a half we got our order, multiple things missing even the stuff we had discussed to swap out, but didn’t even bother saying anything because we didn’t want to wait another hour just for more bad customer service. I don’t know why we thought we should go there again, but we really wanted KFC I mean who doesn’t (I’m a vegetarian but I still really like there chips and many other vegetarian options). We arrived and again the staff were messing around, we ordered through drive thru this time but the wait was still pretty long, 30 minutes to get our order, we arrived home and saw 3 zinger burgers we missing..3! We drive back and this time we go inside, we get our the zinger burgers and leave. As we were eating the burgers one of them looked to be cut in half, the chips tasted hard and plain, the popcorn chicken was disgusting, and the mashed potato and gravy was frozen. DO NOT EVER go to this establishment unless you want a horrible tasting meal cooked by kids who have horrible customer service. Fast food is meant to be FAST not as slow as a bloody snail. Read moreIf only I could give less than 1 star. Terrible service tonight and what a waste of time having an online ordering option for Marangaroo KFC. I placed me order at 6:15pm tonight and received my email receipt 1 minute later. I headed down to pick up my order at 6:30pm thinking this would be plenty of time for my small family order to be ready. I walked in-store, not realising I could drive thru and give my order number at the window. So after a few minutes waiting in store not being served, to moving through the drive thru fairly smoothly, I was told to park in the waiting bays as the kitchen was 4 minutes away from having original fillets ready for burgers. I waited in the bay for 20 minutes (3 songs on Spotify equaled 20 minutes). I walked in and sitting there, still, was a mother who was there long before I first arrived, she wasn’t looking happy either as each of the Uber eats drivers were getting their orders sorted out while customers like us, there in person, were getting totally ignored. I finally got the attention of a staff member who didn’t know how to react when I told him I’d been sitting in my car for 20 minutes without receiving my food, so he asked his manager to talk with me. The manager asks me “you’ve only been waiting in the waiting bay for 5 minutes haven’t you?” I answered “no, I’ve been there 20 minutes, it’s now 6:50pm and my order was placed at 6:15pm, here’s my receipt”. She then advises me “oh, we don’t start making your order until you come here”. I said “what?, why would anyone place an order online to only have to come down here and place the order again anyway?
