Disappointed with the service.

I’ve been to this coffee shop once before and had a very pleasant experience. At the time, I was helped by the owner, a very friendly and attentive French gentleman, which left me with a great impression of the place.

Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I waited a long time to be served, while several staff members simply ignored me. After quite a while, a red-haired barista finally acknowledged me, but her attitude was extremely rude and visibly impatient.

When I told her what I wanted, she responded in a rushed and unfriendly manner. I didn’t understand what she said, so I asked again, and she practically shouted at me — showing complete rudeness and impatience.

It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I don’t plan on coming back. I believe the manager — or the owner himself, if he’s still running the place — should pay more attention to staff training, especially when it comes to treating customers with respect...

Edit: visited again today. The custard tart I was sold was stale, with soggy pastry! When will I learn.... Sorry guys but giving you another go after the last unsatisfactory visit was a mistake. Coffee was good, service not, and considering the prices (plus a 10% holiday surcharge) I didn't expect a croissant so burnt on the bottom I couldn't eat it! PS your response struck me as more defensive than apologetic. I bought takeaway so the effort to return to complain about the burnt product was more than it was worth. Your long reply boasting of fine ingredients ignores the simple factor of quality control. If places that charge far less for their product can quality control to avoid selling a product so burnt it tastes nasty, then so could you! Then your customers wouldn't be faced with having to get in the car and come back to return something that shouldn't have been sold in the...

We ordered a Saint-Honore cake here for our dad for his birthday. Ordered online and picked it up on the day. We also ended up getting a pack of macarons since they had a special for online orders. the cafe was a bit hard to find since it wasn't labelled properly but keep an eye out for a blackboard. It took a few minutes to get someone's attention since they were busy out back but then it was quick and easy picking up the order. The macarons were pre-packed but they were willing to exchange flavours if we wanted to. The cafe had quite a few pastries in the cabinet which all looked tasty. They also had homemade ice cream too. The cake was really nice, it even had a message on a macaron shell. The only fault was that the caramel holding the puffs onto the cake became a bit chewy but it was delicious. The cafe also had other items too, including savoury options like crepes for...

Came here and had a bad experience about 18 months ago - thought we’d give it another go Arrived at 2.00pm, an hour prior to the advertised closing time Tables outside being packed away already, i asked the girl if they were closing early, no she says. I then go inside to order to be sighed at when I ordered a coffee, the person behind the counter looking like she was desperate for me to not bother her. I then said I’d like a crepe too, oh sorry the kitchens no open….. Business must be doing pretty well if these guys are turning away business and treating customers as if they’re an inconvenience Go elsewhere, plenty of nearby cafe’s where they are friendly and actually want to be in business

3.5 stars, La petite Environment: French style decorations. Indoor or outdoor. Spacious. Cozy. --- 7.5/10 Service: nice staff, especially the young guy who made coffee for us. He always smiled. - Crepe Country, $22: the quantity of chicken, Camembert, potatoes and onions was ok. However, the bitterness of over- roasted potatoes let me down as burnt like charcoal. I had to left the potatoes on the plate. --- 6/10 - Salmon Omelette, $24: not much Salmon and spinach, but a lot of dried tomatoes. Used pumpkin seeds instead of walnuts, egg texture was good. --- 7/10 Hot Chai Latte, and Hot Chocolate, $4.5@: ok. Also, take away a Gold Bar and a Saint Honore tart. $8@: Yummy, not too sweet. --- 8/10

I’ve been to maison saint-honoré previously in one of their other locations years ago, but this was our first time here. We had the croque madame and egg royal croissant. My partner loved the hollandaise and the croissant was great. I loved the croque madame - basically if you love a cheesy toastie and some roast potatoes, then definitely give it a try. The only thing I thought was that it is quite a rich meal even with the salad so I feel like it needs something in the meal to break that a little. Other than that, coffee was good, their OJ was nice and we also tried the nutella and lavender macaroons which were alright (but we’re not big fans of macaroons in general, we just wanted to try).
