took far too long to get orders out. we reserved seating a week ago to celebrate two family members birthdays, one of which was an 18th birthday. took over an hour to get our food, the person that ordered last got theirs first, the first people that ordered didn’t get any food before we left. No one came out and spoke to us about the hold up and we had to go up and speak to them multiple times. all i ordered was a side of wedges and some steamed veggies and for some reason it would’ve taken over an hour to get if i hadn’t left before then to get something that simple. in the end they blamed us and said we could’ve done better when their customer service was poor and didn’t get our food out. in the time we were waiting the table next to us was seated, ordered ,served, ate, got doggie bags, and then left. While the actions of one family member was rash which resulted in us being asked to leave, we were already talking amongst ourselves if we should just leave and ask for a refund, the thing that annoyed that particular member was that he witnessed even more people inside that were there after us being served food similar to what we ordered. frankly this whole experience was pathetic. do better.

p.s don’t go there if if you are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. as there was barely anything for vegetarians to be able to eat (too be fair not even sure if the cheese was animal rennet free), so not even sure if there was anything vegetarian there. I saw no gluten free options nor any vegan options. besides a sad sounding salad of course, which one would hope by 2021 they would be...

We went for dinner last night and it was very busy so we waited a really long time for our food. The salad bar is quite sad, and the dessert bar is very limited. We had the cheese and garlic calzone, which appeared to be minus the garlic; however it was perfectly cooked and wonderf and crispy around the edges. We ordered the fish & chips and the porterhouse steak and both were incredibly tasteless. If you asked me what fish it was, I would probably say tofu... not even fish flavoured tofu... it tasted like nothing and so did the batter it was fried in. The tartare sauce also tasted like nothing. It looked like mayo but wasn't even as tasty as that. The steak also had no seasoning, but was cooked well and was a decent size. The steak fries were the best thing about the whole meal, they were super delicious. The serving sizes were generous for what we paid. The service was good. The waitress was literally running around trying to keep everyone happy. Even though it was busy, it wasn't too noisy to have a conversation. first time we went there it was fantastic. Food amazing Jay and the staff very friendly and helpful. Felt like coming home to family. Unfortunately, everything has changed new menu, Food is nowhere near as good as it was, Staff not as friendly and attentive. I booked a lunch two weeks before we went. I rang before going on the day and the booking Wasn’t logged into the computer. I used to recommend it to everybody, but now I’ve decided that we won’t go there any more. This seems to happen all the time. You find a good place to eat. You love the food. Staff is great, and then they change the menu or they change the management and things just go straight downhill. I don’t think that The size of a seniors meal should be any smaller than that of a younger Person. Seniors have worked all their lives and just because they’re old doesn’t mean that their appetite is small. I think it’s a good idea to respect older people. This would make a big difference in your tavern. I never thought that I would give a review like...
