I've been coming here for a couple years now, but I thought I'd finally leave a review. Food: Although I rated the food here 4 stars, I do warn that it can be quite hit or miss. Depending on what you order, the portion size and quality differs quite a bit. I personally stick to either the Rare Beef Ho Fun, or the Pork Chop Rice as the portion is good and the quality has been consistent for those dishes. Just recently, I had some relatives over and we brought them here, and one of them ordered a Duck Noodles, and the quality of that was quite poor. The noodles were all clumped together and straight out of a packet. How we knew? We found a fairly large piece of plastic in her noodles which was similar to that of plastic packaging. So if you've been before and enjoy the dishes, I'd recommend just sticking to what you know for this restaurant and if you've never been, again, I'd highly recommend the pork chop rice. Service: The service has always been good every time I've come, and it was further reinforced the last time that I came. In my most recent visit, we arrived pretty late, so a lot of the ingredients that made up one of the dishes were all sold out, so they offered alternatives and made up for it. The clear communication and initiative to let us know as soon as possible was great. Atmosphere: Pretty straightforward, can't really complain about much. Nothing's really out of place. I don't feel uncomfortable eating there at all, the place is quite lively during peak hours, and during the afternoon, the bright sun shines through the windows so it's quite relaxing. Overall: I'd highly recommend Phoever if you're looking for some delicious Vietnamese food, where you get your money's worth and stomach's worth.

When you order authentic Vietnamese food, it is usually the broth that is the highlight of the noodle dishes. Earlier, I ordered a Crab Meat Vermicelli (Bún Riêu) for my wife. But guess what? The broth tastes like tap water with MSG (bột ngọt) added in! Normally, Crab Meat Vermicelli should have a strong taste, brought by the authentic shrimp paste. Regrettably, it seems that the paste was NOT added to the broth this time. Finally, I could have let this go if the owner/manager of the restaurant had spoken to me nicely. Instead, she insisted that she had put in the paste, and, to quote her, "I am the one who cooks, so I know!". This customer-blaming attitude was what led me to rate this restaurant this low. The extra star for service, though, was awarded because of the employee answering the phone initially. Contrary to the owner/manager, he was at least very nice and willing to cooperate to the best of his ability. There are no wrong customers or right ones. There are just customers who either choose this restaurant or others. I implore you, dear customers, choose one with at least a nice attitude and atmosphere!

Good Vietnamese restaurant in the local area. They do great beef ribs noodles, the pho is ok, soup flavour is good but it was lukewarm which was disappointing. The stewed beef noodle was way over starched, very thick and hard to even pick up the noodle, was told it’s usually that sticky… have tried stewed beef noodle in many Vietnamese restaurants around Perth, none of them anywhere near as thick soup as here…. Very unusual. Durian smoothie was a huge disappointment, only a tad bit of durian (artificial??) and the rest are blended ice and tiny bit of milk, not worth the money! Service is a typical Asian restaurant, hard to get attention but the dining area is well spaced out so doesn’t feel too cramped.

My visit to PHO ever – Canning Vale on 17 Dec 2019 would have to be one of, if not, the worst dining experience I have ever had. My wife and I went in for a mid-week (Tuesday) lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Only about half the tables were occupied by customers. After being seated and handed menus by the Waitperson, it was explained to press the bell/buzzer on our table for service. Initially I thought this was a great idea. From many dining out experiences with my wife, I know she will browse through the menu many times and change her mind a number of times. After considering what I have chosen from the menu, she will eventually settle on dish or two. But on occasions, she will discuss the dish with the Waitperson before making her final selection. We browsed through the menu for our meal and drink selections. Once decided, I pressed the bell and heard the buzzer sound to advise the Wait Staff. We waited… No response by staff. I pressed the bell, once again heard the buzzer sound and waited… During this time, we observed the staff seating more customers, restocking the drinks fridge and general fluffing around the restaurant. Still no staff responded to our table. By this time my wife took control of the buzzer and actioned a prolonged buzz for service. After another delay, a Waitperson eventually came to our table only to advise us that we hadn’t completed the necessary paperwork for our menu selection and walked away. What? On our table is a form to complete with our menu item number selections and quantities. We wrote down table number, two main meals with two drinks and promptly pressed the buzzer again to only endure another extensive wait… I am a very patient person. I have to be when I’m dining out with my wife. I was just about at the point of walking out when my wife made one more desperate bell ring for service. She was HANGRY. She had come in for her favourite dish Pho and she wasn't leaving without it. Eventually, a Waitperson came and collected the paperwork and walked away without questioning or acknowledging its contents. We waited… We observed another customer who had come for a meal on her lunch break. She had to have her plated meal packed up in take away containers because it had taken too long to be ordered/served. A Waitperson eventually brought over our drinks and plonked them on the table. Our meals were eventually served, not by the Wait Staff, but by what appeared to be the kitchen staff. My meal was a Stir-Fried Satay Beef dish (B8). The plate was place in front of me and then the kitchen hand asks, “Do you want steamed rice?” If this meal is recommended to be consumed with steamed rice, why wasn’t this suggested by the Waitperson on placing the order? In researching this review, I now see that the B8 meal includes steamed rice. Why wasn’t my meal served with steamed rice instead of being asked if I wanted steamed rice? I rejected the offer of steamed rice because I just wanted to eat and get out of there. During this sorry experience, my wife observed a number of other customers enter, order, served and consume their meals before we had even received our meals. My wife and I couldn’t eat our meals fast enough to just get out of that place. The Wait Staff were very quick to respond when we approached the reception desk to make our payment. Sorry (not), you won’t be seeing us again. Oh! The quality of food, my wife says the Pho she...

This restaurant used to be my favourite of my vietnamese food in Perth since 2017. I always visit this restaurant when i was working in that area surrounding for almost 3years. I think i ate at this Restaurant for more than 10 times ( you may check in my google review - timeline) how many time i check in within a year. I gave them two thumbs and 5star review. U know why there is one lady but she not there this time always take care a good interaction with customer. She know I can't eat pork which my favourite is Pho Tai. She always suggest and remind chef to change the pork stock to beef stock.

Yesterday, at 2.30pm the Vibe is totally different. The new lady ( Liu) is out of the box of the context of customer services. She is not just ignoring people beeping the table number a few times ( not only.my table - table 11) but also the table customer in front of me. She coming just take the docket and without asking what the drink the old couple until the old couple gas to ask.her order for drink. then she came to my table did same thing and throw the pen on my table without asking me what drink i want it because there is no menu of drink provided. My advise to this Restaurant Manager, if u take new staff under training period please train properly how to be a courtesy customer service for front liner, at least in the middle work of ethic but not until the LEVEL of RUDE. Its really mean like u allow people to cross the line. It's silly thing, this values does not apply or monitor in your staff...
