Ordered dinner for delivery through Uber eats. Not a complicated or big order just two pizzas and some gnocchi. After waiting an hour and a half for the food to leave the restaurant I called to find out what was happening. I was told that the pizzas were done and just waiting on the gnocchi (will be ready in only a couple of minutes, I was told). After a further 20 minutes had passed and the food was still not on its way I called again and was told they were just waiting on the gnocchi. So the pizzas had been sitting there getting cold for at least 20 minutes. I asked for them to cancel my order and refund my money as I had already fed my kids being we had been waiting for almost two hours at this point. Was told they couldn't cancel the order as they driver was already there and I could only get my money back through Uber eats. They apologised for taking so long saying they were 'busy' that night (to be fair the girl on the phone was very nice). Would I have had to wait for over two hours for my food if we were there? Don't accept take out orders if you are not going to treat them the same as dine in orders. When the food finally showed up after two hours and twenty minutes the pizzas were stone cold and the gnocchi smelled funny and was nearly inedible. Was such a bad experience I will not return. Real shame as we like to support...
Read morewoodfired pizza is the best I have tasted in Perth, the flavours are well thought out and the crust remained crispy for quite a while. WE also went on a tuesday so there was a special deal with the pizzas being $25 (except for the king) which also includes a glass of house wine and a selected middy beer. There was no line, so it was just straight in. The atmosphere was relaxed and dim lighting, but it felt vibrant, and obviously the italians love it, as we can hear an Italian family near us, which is a good sign for an italian restaurant. Serving size was good, we had 2 pizzas which could easily fit for 3 people. Memorable, and the young lady with long hair was very nice, approachable and friendly. We ordered the Gamberi and the Bomb. Unexpected delight! For me, its the best authentic Italian pizza I've had in Perth. Not those typical tomatoey ketchup bases they use. We went here purely based on internet reviews, and it...
Read moreOk, so we thought we’d try out the Italian pizzeria for our first time, and on arrival we where told that no management where on, and all we could have was pre made pizzas and soft drinks .. anyhow not much to anger on their food or service beyond this as I never got to experience it and more than likely never will .. but who opens a shop these days with limited services ?? And your all probably saying well most places here in Perth do lol .. yep I agree , and welcome to wait awhile Perth !! I’ve spent 50% of my life here in WA and the other 50% of my life over east , I love Perth in all other aspects , however I’d be suggesting a head examination for anyone quoting Perth to have average service levels here , soz but travel to the eastern states to see the level of competitiveness amongst the shops and thresholds to actually see the difference we’re lacking here in service … but why ??...
